The raven paused for a few moments, trying to comprehend the sightly larger words than he normally heard. However, rather it be good luck or bad luck, the pirate wasn’t dim enough to not catch the meaning behind the phrases. “Oh, I’m Luffy!” A big grin along with a wave, the normal greeting for the raven. “I’m gonna be pirate king!” Again, as if anyone cared about his impossible dreams upon first meeting him.

  "Pirate King?" Motochika echoed, before letting out a laugh. "Quite an eager one indeed!" He mused, still chuckling as he stemmed his hands onto his hips.    "That is a fine aspiration if I might say. It is a pleasure to meet you, Luffy. I am Motochika Chosokabe. Too, a proud Pirate and landlord of the very Island you´re walking upon- Shikoku."

The raven walked along as if he owned the place. Luffy had landed and first thing first, went out for some food an some adventures as always. That had been hours ago, before he had gotten so lost. His hunger had grown and he was tempted to ignore the man talking to him in favor of food, however, he had a better idea.

"I want food, meat - where’s all the restaurants?!" Luffy ignored the Sea Devil’s question in favor of asking his own.

  -Lips spreading, teeth flashing as the Pirate let out a laugh at that.                    "Quite an eager one." He mused, hands being stemmed onto his hips.                                   "Say, what is your name, boy?"

             "An answer for an answer sounds like a fair trade, doesn´t it?"

Aqua-green eyes stared back at the ocean blue orb with a bored expression. Was this…pirate talking about the fortress they were currently in? If so, Claire certainly wasn’t going to tell him how she found, since it might possibly blow her cover..

It also somewhat got on her nerve that he called her a young lady when she was much older than him. Speaking in a monotone voice, she replied, “Do I not have the right to go where I please?”

   -Hands raised lighty in a defensive matter as the pirate let out a curt laugh.               "By any means, yes. Shikoku is a shore like any other, free to walk on. However, there are places which should not be stepped upon without permission, like this ship here." The Pirate mused, a grin pulling at his lips,      indicating that he didn´t mind that much at all,                     at least as long the other came in peace that is.

      -Having quite a reputation, the Sea Devil of the West doesn´t get much visits from strangers in Shikoku. Not that they were unwelcome, mind that, it was simply uncommon.      Hence the mild surprise at seeing a new face, one appearing to be a boy on top of that.     "Stranger!" The pirate greeted, approaching the strawhat in a friendly matter.           "What business do you have here in Shikoku, if I may ask?"

   An unpleasant huff escapes through parted petals, Kasuga would have much rather been by her Lord’s side rather than deliever messages to the surrounding warlords. Nonetheless it was her task and it would be done without flaw and or complaint. 

   Actions come to a halt as another is heard faintly and cover is taken atop a tree, she rested upon a branch and became hidden in the leaves.  The blonde had no knowledge of another group that held up her path, lids close partially, gaze forming into a squint in thought. The voice was nothing but a distant memory, a voice that wasn’t heard often.

            Digits pick a single kunai and it’s cradled securely, a leap of faith is taken and she lands swiftly onto the ground.  

     Fair brows knit together, finally arriving at the conclusion of who the voice belonged to. 

                         Chosokabe-sama—-!  

    ❝I didn’t expect you, Chosokabe-sama. ——-I’m just passing through.❞

     -Spending more time on shore than absolutely necessary was quite unusual for Pirates, but inevitable from time to time.          Who were they to let such a thing darken their moods though?       Laughter and music echoing through the camp and the nearby woods, pirates celebrating on shore just as lively as on the open sea.              The Captain, taking part in the celebratory for most of the evening before excusing himself- grasping the chance of the solitary of the woods, making his way towards the cliffs with the full intention to marvel at the gorgeous view of mother sea.

    He was not able to fulfill that goal as soon as he had thought, his feathery companion noticing something odd-                                          and making a ruckus.                         "What the deuce?"       His question however would be answered soon, in form of a female shinobi, appearing out of nowhere. Simply blinking at the new arrival before he started to laugh, patting the now calm bird on his shoulder.         "I see. So that is why you were so agitated, my friend."

  "If that isn´t the Shinobi of the formidable god of war! It has been some time, hasn´t it?" Motochika mused, his full attention now turned to the female, his hand resting on his hip now.

   -Brows furrowing, a frown making its apparent way onto the pirates expression at the sight of the other,                      memories flashing through his head.

   "Takenaka Hanbei." He greeted back, not moving from his spot-        Neither doing any movements towards his weapon,        nor any other to indicate any impression of wanting to harm the other-                     Despite the great insult on his ship.    "Fugaku. Her name is Fugaku." Came the rather calm reply. "She is doing fine, just as her crew is."

        -White, sharp teeth flashing as lips spread into a wide grin at the sight of new Company entering his domain.         A pleasant surprise-                       an old comrade, not believed to be seen again so soon.                          What a pleasant surprise indeed.                 "Dokuganryuu!"

                  "What brings you to my humble place at this hour?"

     -Ocean blue orb turning its gaze towards the sound of footsteps closing in, narrowing lightly in confusion and surprise at the sight of a stranger.                    Those weren´t exactly common in this area of the land.

                 "This isn´t a easily found place, young lady. Do you happen to be lost, perhaps? Or did you seek out this place with a certain purpose in mind?"
