Once a human alchemist, 'Others' became fixated with changing themselves as they changed the elements. He is now basically a living statue, made largely from limestone and retaining very little connection to his old human self. He largely tries to avoid coming into contact with people, but while resting in a cave network he came across a lost traveler, who he helped get to the surface and later befriended. His vision is limited to materials, and he is unable to read electronic screens.
