“I know, right? she seems so familiar, I guess because it was made by the same awesome people” she joked and laughed a little, she still didn't´t feel any pain because the effects of the medicine and probably the anesthesia effects hadn’t`t gone yet.
Rosie laughed as she saw the different reactions of everybody at home “isn´t she so cute, guys?” Rosie talked smoothly to her kids “Aves, my love” Rosie said emotional already after seeing her baby in tears of happiness “your little sister arrived my darling” she said sweetly. “yes my love, she is okay, she is so tiny and she sleeps a lot but she is perfectly fine and she cant wait to meet all of you, she will love to get many kisses from their big sister and brothers” Rosie explained to the kids still crying as they captured that moment between them “I miss you, mommy and daddy miss you a lot, guys” Rosie said honestly. “can she say hi, mama?” Leo asked curious about everything “Well no, no yet, she is so little but you are going to teach her and help her to learn all these things, would you like to?” Rosie asked sweetly as she rubbed Dev´s back gently, “Leo, show your grandmas the phone so they can see Devon” Rosie waited excitedly for her mom´s and Ed´s mom reaction once they laid their eyes on that little angel for first time.
They missed them like crazy and seeing their babies’ reactions was beyond special; Ed would never forget seeing his little girl overwhelmed with emotion being her sister. “Your baby sister, Aves. Finally, my love. It’s okay. Are you happy?,” he asked as the little girl wiped her tears and smiled. She loved being a big sister to her little brothers but she had been waiting for this. A little best friend who would want to be just like her. “She’s going to want to do everything with you, so get ready for that, okay? We love you,” he laughed, just imagining it now. Rosie had a sister, so she probably couldn’t wait to see their daughters growing up together and experiencing many of the same things she had with Florence. Envisioning their future and thinking of their life now, he loved the ideas of both. He was blessed.
“I want to hold the baby!” Brooks said, and then heard Leo, “No! It’s my turn!” Ed shook his head softly hearing the boys. They weren’t even home but it was already starting. “We will take turns and share, okay?” he said, looking at Rosie. Four kids was going to be a game changer. “When can I see her?” Avery asked the calmest one, now showing her beautiful smile. He wished it was right then that his daughter could meet her baby sister but they needed to wait. “In a few days, my love. I think I’ll come see you tomorrow morning, though,” he said, as Rosie explained how she had had a little incision to her tummy and a surgery in order to bring Devon and now a few days to recover there in the hospital. “We have everything we need for your baby sister, don’t worry––We just miss you, guys,” he said and smiled, rubbing Rosie’s back gently as she leaned her head against her shoulder as they waited for their kids to go and get their grandmas. “Okay Mama,” Leo grinned, and brought his face closer to the phone to kiss the camera, “I love you, Devon.” He and Rosie were about to cry again. They really missed their kids more than humanly possible having their newest addition between their arms.
When Carole and Fiona were there, they acknowledged the baby before they even noticed Ed or Rosie. He laughed, “Meet your new granddaughter,” he introduced her to them. Rosie told the whole birth story, every detail, from the moment they got to the hospital. It was unbelievable that just a few hours after leaving their house, they had a healthy baby girl against her chest.
