I have been struggling

For a long fucking time

with why my adderall was having such uneven effects and varying efficacy

and the weird pattern of what made it work and not work and if it was building up in my system or not

and fucking nobody told me I shouldn’t drink a glass of Kool-Aid to take the pills with

or eat fucking Pop-Tarts or Life cereal

It’s because stimulants use the same lil floaties to navigate the blood stream as vitamin C (and the citric acids mentioned above).

So when something else binds to these transportation floaties, your stimulants have nothing to bind to… making them useless in your system. And yet no one is told this when they’re prescribed stimulant medication.

Also, over the counter urinary alkaliniser is very bad to have if you take stimulants. So if you have a UTI, ask for alternatives that don’t interact with your stimulants.

Increasing the efficacy can lead to heart rate & blood pressure issues, which is something you already have to be mindful of when taking stimulants.
