"Sorry" Todoroki mumbled as the two of us stood in the center of my dorm room,staring at a shattered glass frame on the floor. The frame held a 1,950 piece personalized picture puzzle of my deceased grandfather. The pieces were now scattered all across my dorm room floor. I vividly remember a 9 year old me going to the hospital, puzzle box in-hand, and excitedly showing my grandpa the puzzle. I remember spending hours at his bedside, putting the puzzle together piece by piece. I remember how excited I was finally finishing the puzzle and my grandpa framing it and hanginging it on the hospital wall. I also remember the mordified expression I gave my parents when they told me he had passed. I will always remember how I clenched the picture frame on my way home and crying till my eyes were swollen. I glance at todoroki, then back to the frame. I was feeling an array of emotions anger,sadness, grief, pain, confusion. I didn't know how to cope, so I simply said "go get the broom" I didn't mean to be harsh, and todoroki didn't expect my tone to be that way either. But he did as he was told anyways.
Todoroki POV
I left the heavy atmosphere in search of a broom. I found in the janitor's closet and headed back to their room. When I entered, I saw Y/n sitting on the bed with, their knees on their chin. I leaned the broom against the wall and walked over to them. I sat on the bed, and when I saw that they were starting to cry, i embraced them in a hug. "Todoroki," they softly began. "How am I supposed to explain to my mother that you accidentally knocked it off the wall with a pillow?" There was a long pause until I asked, "do you HAVE to tell her it fell apart?" "Yes! Every year we go to his grave to mourn his death. And I always bring the puzzle to "show" him we still have memories.'' They answered digging their face into my chest. "Nevermind.I shouldn't be worrying you. It was my idea to have a pillow fight anyway. I should have been more careful with my surroundings." they mumbled. The last thing I wanted was for them to feel as if this was their fault. I knew I messed up big time,and because of me they are stressing. I lifted their chin said "Y/n, don't think this is your fault, this was all me. You just wanted to do couple stuff and I wasn't careful. After we clean this mess, I'll call your parents and tell them this was me. You shouldn't worry your pretty head about,ok?" They nodded in agreement.
1st person POV
I listened carefully to todoroki's words and wondered how I'd gotten so lucky. He was so nice and kind to everyone. Always caring about others without thinking of himself. *Time skip 2hrs* Just as he had promised, todoroki helped me clean up the mess and called my mom and dad. They were very pleased at his dedication to make me happy. We were now nuzzling each other's noses and giggling softly. I heard todoroki whisper 'I love you', and I whispered it back, before he grabbed my face and have me a long,passionate kiss. He stared into my eyes and licked his lips playfully. He shifted so that I was now under him, and started placing butterfly kisses on my neck. Before for things could escalate, Bakugo bursted through the door and hollered "YOU TWO LOVE BIRDS STOP EATING EACH OTHER'S FACES OFF AND COME EAT YOUR DAMN DINNER" todoroki sighed and smirked, "maybe next time"
