there’s really not enough said about how incredibly extra alex’s sense of fashion is in any modern au. the colors. platforms that have him standing at six feet. amounts of jewelry that far exceed the setting he’s in, brunch doesn’t need that much bling but he’s going to bring it anyway. pants so tight they’re painted on, brightly patterned shirts half-unbuttoned, thin gold necklaces draped over the bare skin. 

the man does not touch a black and white suit or tux the moment he has the money to choose otherwise. every event is an event. full drama. silk pajamas and thin, slinky-soft robes at home. exceptions made for george’s sweatshirts. but otherwise – canon aham’s version of professional was running around in slicked-back curls and an emerald green suit, it is impossible to me that in a modern context he wouldn’t do the most. you cannot tell me that the growth and self-acceptance that comes with being loved by george wouldn’t translate to alex going as far as he wanted with what he wears, how he shows himself to the world.
