I'm very curious to see the spell in itself. When i see how the fan-made Kugelblitz Spell is (very pretty, mandala like. Is this way of magic proper to Zozat ?) i really wonder if we're gonna have more input on what large scale spells look like.
One thing i didn't pay attention before but i find very cool: The black shadows of the land's ball casts on each other (on the seconde picture, it seems undependant from the source light and waaaay darker than just the core shadow (i'm not sure this is the proper term). Doesn't it look like lidless eyeballs ? Since their not looking at Coco, i'm not sure it implies that Iguin is looking (even if by the end of the chapter, he's present), but it still gives an eery feeling that the first big shot of Dadah's range doesn't convey (more magestic, poetic).
Cool panel. Living under water like this would make me anxious despite the sight.
This make me curious about how was the atelier before Coco. Does Agott considers Tetia and Richeh as beneath her ? (probably, she doesn't eat with them.) Must be very weird times.
The uniform of the witch. The pointy cap. I saw someone mentionning they prefer the english translation of the title of the manga because it sounds like "Wich hat ? Atelier". I don't remember when the faction of the brimhat will be mentionned, but i remember a ligne about the brim hidding their face (giving them anonymous). I find it very interesting that the anime call the uniform/the cap "a shackle" when in the manga, the panel of Coco finally wearing her uniform is borderless. And how the manga put the emphaze more on responsabilities of a witch.
I don't really now where i'm going with this, but we are all aware that being anonymous is something harder and harder to be, irl as online (mass surveillance camera, AI recognition, immatriculation plate, cards (credit, to use public transport, ect), IP adress [please get a good VPN]) and i remember clearly the itch in me, when the first thing by what the Brimmhat faction is describe is by the fact that hide their face. Not their plans, not their use of magic, they hid their face. This is when I knew Witch Hat Atelier will not be a manga as the other.
And finally, some crack theory for the love of the game, do not take it seriously:
The second panel is from chapter 2. COCO IS A SILVER TREE CONFIRMED ?????? (I know, I know. When we'll come to it, I'm pretty sure the circle behind coco is also behind Qifrey at some point. Plus the foetal position + the mysterious sentence of Iguin at the end is baffling, but there is thousands of counter argument.) (At the beginning, i just wanted to made another crack theory about the silverwood being an alien specie because of panspermia, the link with the star, the first volume mentionning space quite often [the very first panel with the astronaut, the void toilet and... the two human figures on the side kind of remind me the Pioner plaque (also, first and unique boob of the serie ?) But maybe, just maybe, my toughts took that direction because i'm reading the Hail Mary Project ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ).
