Shout out to the amazing character acting in breaking bad that makes the everything feel so fucking organic. The little sneer that Bryan Cranston does whenever Walt decides to drop the facade and start bringing the hammer down in a conversation. The way Anna Gunn visibly unfocuses when Walt starts spinning his bullshit and she's looking right at him but it's so obvious from nothing but her face she's not seeing him at all. The visible edge in Aaron Paul's eyes when Jesse is using, his little tics and constant movement and comparative lack thereof when Jesse is clean. The way Marie has a whole internal battle from start to resolution in the span of coming home to paralysed Hank looking at his rocks and being told to fuck off, and all of that from just Betsy Brandt's expressions alone with no overt text whatsoever. The way Dean Norris's face and manner go from affable, probably-homophobic uncle, to genuinely terrifying deadly angry guy you would believe capable of murder, when he's face to face with Walt in his garage being threatened. The way Jesse Plemmons just does not emote at all as Todd so you have no idea what he's thinking at any time, and this being a narratively significant feature of the character. The way Mike only ever smiles at his granddaughter and also Jesse when he saves their asses in Mexico. The differences in the expressions of Walt's affectations of dismay and his real dismay. The way Giancarlo Esposito's manner transitions seamlessly from friendly diner manager to ruthless mob boss in the same thirty seconds. The way he is still visibly uptight around Don Eladio. David Costabile's little microexpressions when Walt is chewing Gale out. The hollowness in his voice when he knows he's done. I could keep on going it's all so well done

Steven Spielberg has received criticism for buying the film rights to MLK's speeches, and further controversy stems from King's estate.

In 2009, Steven Spielberg's DreamWorks company paid the estate for film rights to King's words, along with his life rights, which allow a person or company to make content based on an individual's story. DreamWorks has yet to produce or direct Spielberg's planned King biopic, but the rights have caused complications for numerous filmmakers. (Neither Spielberg's literary agent nor King's estate returned Broadly's request for comment.)

King has received only one major biopic, 2014's Selma, directed by Ava DuVernay […] Instead of using King's speeches, DuVernay wrote original monologues that sounded like soliloquies the civil rights leader could have given. […] When asked about the changes in 2014, DuVernay told the Washington Post, "We knew those rights are already gone. They're with Spielberg."
