What-The-Hell:Â Jeronimo Yanez
Take a good look at this face. This is the face of yet another blue thug. This cop fired seven shots into Philando Castile with his girlfriend and 4-year old daughter helplessly watching. The jury in this animalâs trial let him go free. They didnât care that he murdered a man who was complying with all of this requests with a child in the vehicle. They didnât care that this child could have been hit by this murdererâs bullets and killed as well. They didnât care that Philandoâs mother, girlfriend, daughter, friends and children he mentored lost someone they loved. They just saw another black man and figured, âhey, who cares? Letâs get out of here, Iâm hungry.â
I have been angry over police killings before, but this one has me at a Category 5. I look at this smug prickâs face and want to smash it into thousands of pieces. I want to shove Philandoâs daughterâs photo in his murdering face and ask, no demand, to know what he plans to tell this young lady when she cries for her father at night? Oh wait, he could give a shit. Whatâs killing another nigger? Just another day at the fucking office for this pig and the rest just like him.
I want to ask this murdererâs wife a question: how the hell do you even stand to look at the man you married knowing he killed someone while a child witnessed her fatherâs death? How do you sleep next to a monster? How do you kiss him? Wrap your arms around him? Hold the hands that held the gun that ended a manâs life while his daughter watched? What are you going to tell your children? Because youâd better believe theyâre going to find out, weâll make sure of it. Have you seen the video? Youâre husband took his time calling for an ambulance or backup. Philando could have been saved or at least attempted to be saved. But your murdering husband decided it wasnât a big deal. Let him die. Just another nigger, right?
This murderer had the gall to shed tears at the trial. Fuck your tears, murderer! You deserve no sympathy for what youâve done. You deserve nothing good in this life or the next ever again. You have joined the ranks of other murderers. Feel good about that? You feel like a man now? Because you are not a man. You are a coward. You could have told Philando to put his hands up and you could have taken his gun if you were that afraid. But you werenât afraid. You wanted to kill him. You wanted to put your bullets in a black manâs body and feel like a god. You can now say that you are a god. Gods are petty, ruthless, cowardly, and care about nothing but themselves. Congratulations, you are now on the same level as Zeus,
Here is what I wish for you, murderer. I wish you misery. I wish you sadness. I wish you heartache. I wish you a lifetime of nightmares, of depression, of anxiety, of looking over your shoulder every day of your miserable life. I hope you are always greeted with contempt, hatred, drinks in your face, slashed tires, rocks through your windows, unemployment, and ridicule. Know that there are MILLIONS of people who hate you, who think you are trash, who wish they could smash your face in. MILLIONS. You have left a legacy that will follow you forever. And we will never let you forget it. Do not ever ask for forgiveness. You do not deserve it.
Now look at this face. This was Philando Castile. He was a father. A son. A mentor. A black man who deserved much better. He was slaughtered by a cop. The justice system did nothing for him or his family. There was no justice. Even when he was honest and told that murderer he was carrying a gun he was LEGALLY allowed to carry, the murderer decided to shoot him anyway. Now he is dead. And his family has to deal with this for the rest of their lives. His daughter has to relive the nightmare of seeing her father murdered. I pray that she is surrounded by love and guidance to get her through what will be difficult times ahead. I pray she can find joy somehow, even though she lives in a country that hates her. I pray she succeeds in spite of that hate. That she becomes the black girl magic she is destined to be. That she carries her fatherâs spirit of giving back with her to help her community. I pray that she knows she is loved very much.
Rest in peace, Philando. You no longer have to deal with the hatred this country has given you.Â
