Ping Pong well unfortunately break is almost over and i have to get back to focusing on school related things so i thought a post would be in order...anyway for christmas i got a pingpong table conversion top for my pool table and i have been playing alot of pingpong...i began to realize that ping pong is filled with physics, so i began to google it and i found tons of stuff like videos of people calculating formulas for the most ideal serves and spinnns, but my favorite website i found was this (check it out) http://tabletennis.about.com/od/beginnersguide/a/physics_mathsTT.htm this website is perfect to learn all physics that is related to ping pong because to become a ping pong master it is necessary to understand and use this knoweldge and outsmart / outskill any opponent

so the test was alright today... i wasnt feeling great so it was hard to remeber some things but it wasn't to bad and i thought the test was on machines too? that was a surprise but it worked out cuz i didnt understand some of that stuff nyway...well i hope i did good and Mr. Love if you read this can i make up my lab tomoro after school??

Energy Post
so in class we have been learning about energy. So there are 2 types
1) kinetic - the energy of motion
2) Potential - stationary energy
we then learned that each energy has its own equation KE = 1/2 mv^2 and PE = mgh, but both these formulas can be put equal to work, which i found interesting
next we figured that energy can be conserved and basically u set up the same equation as momentum where u have the initial energy = final energy
to learn energy we did fun stuff like testing to see if a bowling ball would hit someones face but to my dissapoint it did not (jk)
i think energy isnt too complicated but who knows how hard it will get and i still think that seeing a roller coaster in action would help in understanding it.

for number 2 i think u get rid of the mass all together and u do the conservation of energy equation without mass in the equations
