Eating Healthy - Jeremy and Rachel

Good habits start at home, they say, and Rachel wanted nothing but the best habits for Moriah, especially when it came to her diet–as much as she loved Quinn, and Quinn’s willingness to go ‘partially vegan’, her beloved’s food preferences left much to be desired–so when she got her invitation from Eating Green to attend a special lunch celebrating healthy eating, she was planning to accept even before she saw that Jeremy was listed as her plus one.
A happy coincidence if ever there was one as she had a few questions for him about how best to set up a trust for Moriah, but hadn’t had the time to arrange for a meeting.
Something that had become a bit more commonplace than Rachel wanted to admit these last few weeks. Moriah still wasn’t locked down on a schedule and her own had been thrown off from her time in the recording studio. Combined with the extra preparations the heatwave required anytime her daughter left the house, and Rachel was later leaving the house than she wanted to be, which meant later arriving at the lunch than she’d planned to be.
“Thank you.” Rachel said, flashing a large, wide grin at the man the held open the door long enough for her and Moriah-in-her-stroller to pass through. The crisp coolness of the air conditioned interior drew out a happy sigh from Rachel while also making her thankful that she’d gone with the elbow length sleeved top that she’d paired with her knee length skirt.
“Sorry we’re late.” Rachel apologized as she approached Jeremy after being directed to their table. “Someone didn’t want to wear her hat.” Rachel added as she picked Moriah up out of the stroller before settling into the chair opposite Jeremy where she adjusted the pastel yellow, wide brimmed cap sitting onto Moriah’s head. “I managed to talk her into it in the end.” Rachel flashed him a grin, “And how are you? Were you waiting long?”
Jeremy sat there, he texted Brianna to make sure she was okay, as he was approached by the girl he was meeting and he finished his reply to Brianna before he returned to his focus on the girl and looked over at her little one in the stroller and he smiled at the little girl in the stroller, “Oh don’t worry about it honestly, do not worry about it at all. You have no need to be sorry.” He smiled as he took a sip of the water that was on his table. He laughed, “I guess she’s already a little bit of a diva.” He laughed, “She’s adorable though, how old is she now?” He smiled, the excitement to have his own one of these was exciting him, he knew that he was going to be a dad and he was very excited. “Well that was good of you.” He smiled looking over at the two of them. He nodded, “No not long at all to be honest. Just been texting Brianna, we’re planning on moving house soon so a lot of things to sort out.” He smiled, “I am very good, a lot of things changing and very busy but very good. How are you Rachel?”
