Heey guise! I saw a blog that I really liked and I noticed they haven't posted since July of 2011 so I thought I'd take the torch and restart it. I wonder if anyone is still wondering if I’m around? Anyhow, I’m hoping to restart this blog again because honestly it was so much fun before school, stress and some other personal things got in the way. But I’m graduated for over a year now, I have a steady Monday-Friday, 9-5:30 job that I won’t be attending classes for for another year or so. I’m hoping my minimal social life won’t get in the way of me trying to run this blog again but I’d really like to attempt it again. So I’m asking for more suggestions of what you guys have learned from starkid and their productions! (If you could include the name of the production if your submission is from a specific piece that’d be great!) I hope to get this back up and running and posting at least 1 photo a day! See you all soon!

PLEASE READ THIS, URGENT HELP NEEDED

So I have no idea what to do, there is a theatre company where I live, and they keep on doing this thing where they take movies like Mean Girls and Miss Congeniality and making musicals out of them (without getting rights, or going through copyrighting) and they are also charging on the door which is fishy.

But they recently advertised that they are doing an “adaptation” of Harry Potter and calling it “A Totally Awesome Potter Musical”. They have advertised that they have adapted it completely themselves, but it is so obvious that they are just ripping off AVPM. As you can see from the photoset, they have even taken the AVPM POSTER and put their title over the top, and the other pictures are scenes from rehearsals, which you might recognise if you’ve seen AVPM.

This has pissed me off to no end, and I want them to learn the hard way. I don’t know any of them personally so I can’t just talk to them, but it is so unprofessional that they have even put any of these productions on.

It definitely pisses me off because I know how much Starkid went through to get the rights to perform AVPM, and they were not allowed to charge on the door, which this company definitely is.

Here’s where you come in. I have no idea how to report them, or anything, so if any of you know how, please message me if you can help in any way.

I want to protect Starkid and their work, and I know that there are much more dedicated fans than me.
