Last night three of us decided to head out to go on another "treasure hunt." This is where we sit and listen to God, write down what we feel he is saying to us. Then we head out going to specific places we feel he leading us, looking for specific people we believe that he wants us to bless.

At the end of the night we ended up praying for two people that were 100% God made appointments.

First we headed to a park to listen thinking we would hear some more from God. Sure enough we did. While we were there one of us was really led to pray for this one woman. Her eyes got watery as we said hello and approached her. This was a God divine appointment. We had written down

Would be sitting alone.

We originally approached this woman because we could see that she had pain in her knee. But she quickly told us that she was in more pain because of the recent loss of her daughter. She had a think European accent and confirmed that she was indeed European.

So we sat there praying with and listening and mourning with a European woman who was sitting alone, who just lost a child, who was wearing a white shirt.

We listened to her story and she encountered the love of the father. We also prayed for her knee. The first time we prayed she said she still had pain but it did feel better. We prayed again, and still same thing. It feels better but still pain. So we prayed a third time. We asked the same question, do you have any pain in your knee at all? No, I don't have any pain anymore. She told us that she no longer had any pain in her knee.

So we blessed her, asked God to speak to her in new ways and got to hug her a bunch of times, it was awesome :)

We still had a bunch of stuff on our list though so we knew we had to pray for another person. The stuff on our list was

A bunch of animals

The forks ( a specific location)

Someone wearing a suit jacket or grey jacket

Someone wearing high heels

Someone by a bridge

Someone sitting alone

Someone well dressed in a place they did not necessarily have to be well dressed.

someone going through a specific problem

Someone around the age of 50

So we headed out looking for this person. We grabbed some coffee and walked around the city for a while. Eventually we ended up where we had thought God was leading us. Right in front of us was this giant mental art. Engraved in it was a bunch of animals. We took this as a sign that we were in the right place

And then we sat, and sat and sat. Looking for this person. This seems to be a usual thing as we goes out. For some reason God likes to leave things right to the last moment. Why? I have no idea. It just how it works. It is like God is pushing us a little bit. Are you really going to believe that I am in this with you? Or are you just a crazy person.

I decided I was going to walk around a bit. As I was walking I noticed this girl that met the criteria for what we were looking for. As I walked past her my foot got really hot. This was something that happened earlier in the day that I noted but didn't understand. I was on coffee break earlier that day and then my foot got super hot for no reason. I mentioned to my co worker, that my foot is super hot.

It was like god was saying to me when you are standing in the right place I will let you know. So awesome!

I went and got the two other people with me. And eventually we built up the courage to go talk to her. I specifically felt that I was supposed to not be involved in approaching this woman. So the two other people with me did and approached her.

After waiting and wondering if we were crazy people. Was any of this actually going to happen? We found ourselves in a god appointment. And then by the metal art of animals, at this specific location, this woman wearing a suit jacket, well dressed where she didn't have to be, sitting alone by a bridge, wearing high heals, in her 50's going through the exact problem in life that we had written down was willing to talk with us.

After about 45 minutes of talking I learned that this was for sure our God appointment. The two other people I was with were able to pray for her and she experienced peace. They were able to encourage, empower and provide some sympathy and godly council to her. The woman had said, if you are going to go out and do this stuff, you should bring Kleenex with you. She was balling, as the love of God met her in this place.

What is really cool about this story. Is that this woman name was the same name of the daughter who had passed away of the first woman we had blessed. And this name is not popular name. This was literally the first time I had ever heard this name.

As I walked away from these stories I feel that I took 3 main points home with me.

1. God desperately wants to do relationship with his children. He wants to talk to us and use us and play with us. - In our group of three he used all of us in a huge way. Even though it was one of our first times going out. What we heard was exactly bang on! Amazing. God wants to talk to us. Are you willing to listen?

2. You are the light of the world. - It amazed me as I got to sit and watch the two girls I was with love on this woman ( who is a complete stranger) Yet they are talking and hugging as if they have known each other for years. It was so cool to watch God use people. And as we stepped out he used us. We were able to bring light to a dark situation. I realized that these two girls I was with were presently being the light of the world. We are the light of the world.

3. He knows your name. - The two main characters of our story shared the same (very unique) name. In a city with almost a million people. He led us to two people who shared something uniquely in common. It was almost as if God was saying to me. I know your name. Isn't that awesome, that God knows you and we can know him. ! wow.

God heals and releases joy.

About 8 months ago I started to get sick. I was in and out of the hospital. I couldn’t breath. I couldn’t walk. I stopped going to school and at church I couldn’t sing. The Doctors had no answers. My father, my pastor, had me prayed over and anointed every Sunday I could go. Nothing helped, I thought God was gone, and I just wanted to die. The day before a big weekend youth conference, things look like they were going bad. The morning my father was taking me to get on the youth van, I couldn’t even take a full breath and he wanted to take me back to the hospital, But I went on the trip anyway.

The second day in, during the end worship, my friend asked me to stand with her in front of the stage, and I agreed to go if she helped me over.

As we stood, the weekend speaker was walking around and praying for the student. Next thing I know, he is placing his hand on my back, and in that moment I physically felt my lungs open back up, and i began to weep.

I told him what happened later and he had me share the next day.

I spent most of the weekend running around, screaming, singing, dancing and walking all on my own for the first time in months.

God still does miracles. Never forget that.

God appointments.

I want to be involved in his stories, and I have been praying for God made appointments. I have prayed this for the last five days and for the last five days I have been involved in God appointments.

After having an amazing time on our "treasure hunt' Friday night. Three of us decided we wanted to go out again. So we sat and spent some time praying and listening and then headed out again looking for our God appointments. To make this brief I will let you know we did have two God made appointments for us yesterday.

Here are the things we felt holy spirit was leading us into for our first appointment.

Pain in hip

There were some more but I do not remember them off the top of my head.

After taking some time to listen it took about a minute to find a homeless man sitting by a door. When we started talking to him he literally said I 've been sitting here by this door for years. He also loved animals and was experienced in taking care of animals. We knew this was our guy. We sat with this man for a while and talked. He explained he felt love and loved by us. We prayed for healing to take place in his life in many ways and began to see some evidence of healing in his life. He also committed to us he would go get some tests the next day to confirm a full healing. We felt God had some things he wanted this man to know. So we were able to look him in the eyes and tell him what we believe God was wanting to say to him that day. He was deeply moved and was experiencing God in tangible ways. He told us he could feel love from God.

Next we went to a place we believed God had another appointment for us. Here are some things that we had felt God was showing to us.

We soon found our selves sitting at a fountain. On one side of us was a restaurant called coliseum, and on the other was a giant painting called birds and doors of the world. There were lots of pictures of doors and gates on the painting. So we knew we were in the right place.

We had a description of the person that we knew we were supposed to bless. I cannot tell you all the things we knew but I can let you know a few

There were more but for that persons sake I will keep these private. We sat by this well for two hours and nothing seemed to be happening. Lots of people were walking by but no one was meeting our description of who we were looking for. After two hours there she was.

We started talking to her and blessing her. One of us asked her if axe or skull meant anything to her. She laughed and said no. About a minute a later she said oh there is my boyfriend and proceeded to call him over.

We all kind of freaked out when he walked up as the two main images on his shirt were an axe and a skull. Even the girl we were praying for was blown away. They opened up to us a lot more from this point on, and we were so certain this was a God appointment by this point.

We prayed for them as a couple and blessed them. We saw healing take place in their lives. They told us they felt different. They felt peaceful and lighter. They both shed tears as God touched them.

It is amazing how God will use his children to bring heaven to earth. He calls us to go out into the world and just show his love to people. He will use you if you let him. I realized on this day that we are the light of this world. We are the salt of the world. Or easier put. God's presence and love lives in us and wants to get out. This is our purpose. To let his love and his presence in us get out. To go out and simply bless and love people.

Matthew 5: 13 (MSG) “Let me tell you why you are here. You’re here to be salt-seasoning that brings out the God-flavors of this earth. If you lose your saltiness, how will people taste godliness?

God always hears us.

This story not only belongs to me but three others as well. This is my personal experience of the story. I will do my best to tell the story but you must realize that writing it out to you in words does not do this story justice. You would have had to been there to fully understand how much and how amazing God was in this story.

Since I started this website I have been praying that God would place my life into stories that he was involved in. I have been praying for God made appointments with people. Well God has been coming through.

Yesterday evening I got home from work and decided to lay in bed and take some time to ask Holy Spirit what he wanted to do. Soon after I got a text from a friend saying lets go LOVE people tonight. So we both took about half an hour to listen to what God was revealing to us about what who and how he wanted to love tonight. After this I headed over to his place and we compared what we got. And wrote down all the clues that God had given to us. We met up with two other people in our church and they did the same. We complied a list of about 20 things that God had revealed to us. Some were concrete. Some were abstract. But we wrote out what God was revealing to us in our phones and on pieces of paper. And than head out.

Like I said we wrote down about twenty things. Some were really abstract like red slide, or flowers, or reflection in the water. But some were really specific like parliament building and three girls two blonde one brunette. In fact both my friend and I got this when we were by our selves. I had written down three girls one is blonde for sure. He had written three girls two blonde. Let me remind you that we had not talked to each other about this. It was not planned or anything, we both just happened to hear the same thing when we listened for God's voice.

We head out the four of us and soon found that God was highlighting things to us on our list. It felt like we were on a treasure hunt. We would go one place and be able to check off another thing off of our list. But we couldn't seem to find three girls meeting our description anywhere. oh ya, we also felt these girls were between 18-25 and were all wearing shorts. We were running around looking for girls all over the city. We started in a park and chased down people there but nothing happened. We went to a soccer field and still nothing. People were actually being kind of hostile to us. Which is really abnormal for when we go out.

Eventually we ended up at the parliament building. and we took some time to re group and listen at this fountain. By this point my friend and I were both getting a little bit frustrated. We brought two other people with us this time, and this was not normal. This is not how things usually go. Usually we have prayed for, encouraged, and spoken into some peoples lives. But nothing seemed to be happening. I was about ready to go and give up when one of the girls that was with us came up to me and said did you hear what the other girl with us said? No I replied, I asked her what she heard from God.

She said I just felt God say that if this fountain stops working we are in the right place. As soon as she said that, immediately after the fountain just stopped. It was like her voice turned it off. So we stayed longer and talked to a few more people we felt maybe were the people to talk to but still no three girls.

Eventually after four hours of searching for our god made appointment we were ready to basically give up. We figured we would go grab something to eat and started walking towards where there are restaurants.

30 seconds after we started walking away. Walking directly towards us. Right at the heart of parliament building. You'll never believe it. three girls two blonde one brunette between 18-25 all wearing shorts two of them had flowers on their shirts. (we had heard two different types of flowers).

We all started freaking out a bit but when up to them and told them we were on this crazy treasure hunt and shortly explained that it would sound crazy but we thought god had made a divine appointment for all of us to meet. We showed them our phones and pieces of paper and we had their attention to say the least.

We quickly learned this was in fact a God appointment. God started revealing stuff to us about their lives. It was obvious God set this up. All three girls were carrying extremely heavy burdens. Like crazy stuff. but I will not tell you those details.

I heard god reveal to me that the one girl had recently prayed to God. I asked and sure enough she had just recently prayed after going through her hardship. All of a sudden things started to come together. This girl prayed to God really honestly. Than these crazy people from another city were sitting listening to god asking what should we do? who should we love? He led us right to this girl who had just prayed. It was obvious that god was using us to answer her prayer.

God gave us words about each of their lives and we were able to speak into them. We were able to give insight into things in their lives without asking, and able to speak into their futures. Some of the things we had not checked off our list were for them. We also saw evidence of healing take place. Needless to say their were a lot of tears and hugs as God touched all three of these girls and showed them how radical his love was for them. How much in pursuit of them he was. All he wanted them to know was that he was their father and how much he loved them. And that he cared about them. And that when they talk to him he hears their prayers.

Please remember that when you pray he hears you. And he might just put four crazy people in front of you to show you that too someday. Remember that he is always good, and he is the father that gives us good gifts.

God is crazy in love with you. God is passionately pursuing you.

Matthew 18:12-14 (MSG) “Look at it this way. If someone has a hundred sheep and one of them wanders off, doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine and go after the one? And if he finds it, doesn’t he make far more over it than over the ninety-nine who stay put? Your Father in heaven feels the same way. He doesn’t want to lose even one of these simple believers.

This evening I made myself some tacos. I told God I wanted to do something with him tonight. I asked him what he wanted to do. Soon I realized I was thinking about this idea I've tried before. Making a sign that says I will listen. So I made my sign and head out to an area in our city where it is popular to walk, bike or skateboard. I sat there with my sign and smiled at people as they walked by. Most people smile back and then try not to make contact. lots of people start walking faster like they are scared. I do not know why. But than a lady stopped. We had a conversation and I listened to her tell me her story. I love stories. She told me about the adventures and pain of her life. As I listened to her talk my heart got excited. I found the longer she talked the more I wanted her to tell me the GOOD stuff if you know what I mean. I cared about the little things but I wanted to know what's really on her heart. I wanted to know what she was passionate about and excited about. And I wanted to know what was heavy on her heart. She did tell me a little bit of these things and I was grateful for what she did share with me. As I started leaving I was reminded that this was Gods idea. I imagine if Jesus was here he might do something similar. He wants to know whats exciting you. What's heavy on your heart. He is always available. ANd not only will he listen he wants to listen. If you are reading this. I encourage you not to be someone who figuratively walks by. I encourage you to share your stories and what's going on in your heart and mind with God because he wants to here what you have to say :) 1st Peter 5;7 Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.

YOU ARE THE GOD OF THIS CITY. A friend sent me this picture this morning that he took in our city of 13,000 people. Someone in my City has been going around and spreading the message of hope with positive graffiti. We do not support graffiti on nice fixtures. But we do believe in the power of love. Our prayer for our city is that it will be turned upside down by God's Love for his children. This picture was a good reminder today of what God is doing in my city. And what he is doing in yours.

God's provides for his children. Shows his love by providing a job.

God responds to FAITH.

I was really upset after I lost my dream job at a movie theatre. I loved watching sneak previews, the smell of popcorn and the people I worked with. But after a few unfortunate circumstances I was unfairly let go from my job at the theatre. This obviously made me sad, and maybe even a little bit angry. I went and talked to my dad about this and he reminded me that God responds to faith not anger.I began to seek God and put my trust in him to provide me with a new job. I NEEDED a job. So I started to look for a new job, No luck. No luck. And yes, again, no luck. Two weeks passed. I prayed and asked God to help because rent needed to be paid, food wasn’t going to magically appear on my plate, and bills exist. To my big, amazing, most grateful surprise, in my hunt for a new job, I was offered a ‘co owner’/manager deal at a family friends juice stand in the local mall. He had to leave out of state to tend to his family so he needed a trustworthy hand to take over what he calls “his baby”. Of course I said yes. I now get 60+ hours a week and I am my own boss. My bills are more than paid, rent is a breeze, and now opportunities are coming into my life more than ever. I thank God for his provision. God answered my most desperate prayers and got me out of that place when my time was up. I didn’t lose my faith when job searching. I thanked God the day before, the day, and everyday since then. God has been good to me and my family and my life is moving again. I am happy God helped me with yet another step in my life. I am beyond grateful, thankful, and blessed. Thank God almighty. He sure does works in mysterious ways.

Holy Spirit (God communes with me & and answers my request)

Last night I hung out with a friend/mentor and we talked a lot about God and how we wanted to know God more. Specifically I told him about how I wanted to know Holy Spirit better. This morning at work I took a significant chunk of time to pray to God and specifically talking to Holy Spirit. I listened to a few messages by teachers I trust. I also met with one of my pastors and asked questions about the Holy Spirit. He prayed for me that I would experience more of the Holy spirit. There are these Christian documentaries that I am a huge fan of made by Darren Wilson. His movie company is called Wanderlust. His knew film Holy Ghost has a one day premier this Saturday. This morning I tried to pay my 5$ to see the movie but my visa was denied because I had an unexpected charge. I was disappointed but didn't think to much more of it. When I left work today I got into my car. Usually I listen to music on my way home. But today I was intentional about having silence so I could talk more to Holy sprit. The only thing I could think about talking about was how I was disappointed my visa got denied, and that I probably couldn't watch the movie when I wanted to. SO I told Holy Spirit about that. As soon as I got out of my car to walk inside I got a text message from my cousin saying he got his copy of Holy Ghost in the mail. He had pre ordered and paid extra money through kick start to receive the DVD extra early. And invited me to come over tonight to watch it. I got to go over their and watch it with him and my friend/mentor and was blown away. Holy Spirit you rock. I love you. Ps. You gotta check out that movie, its crazy good. I've always had a hard time sleeping. (God flips a life upside down)

I've always had a hard time sleeping. I used to lay awake at night thinking in cycle about the things I was worried about. School, family, money, my job, is she going to break up with me? To be fair I had placed myself into a situation as a teenager that allowed for a much higher stress level then necessary. I had taken off from home prematurely and was trying to figure out what going to high school with all it's shenanigans that come with it, living away from home, and dealing with layers of family issues looked like.

I wanted to be a rock star. I thought my story was heading in this direction too. I was a runaway, a high school drop out, I played in a pretty good band, and I even had the substance abuse things figured out. I drank a lot. I would get drunk 6 out of 7 days average probably. I would drink to temporarily forget I felt emptiness and heaviness in my chest. It worked but only temporarily. Every time I sobered up those feelings intensified. I smoked because it brought me a moment of peace. Yet after every cigarette I felt less at peace than I was before. I did cocaine sometimes because I craved adventure. I wanted to be excited about something. It worked but the crashes always brought a heavy realization that your adventure wasn't real. I did psychedelic's to experience the supernatural. But I always knew I created these experiences myself. I always was left feeling alone as I craved an intimate relationship. I had lots of friends and was always around people, but I still felt these things I did. The idea of life being this forever left me feeling anxious and depressed, making it hard to sleep at night. I wondered things like, is life even really worth living? If this is all life is, maybe I don't want to do it.

Four years ago I got into a drunk driving accident on my way home from buying cocaine. I didn't really get hurt physically, but something happened inside of me that night. I realized that I was becoming one of those stories that I had read about. I never imagined that my story might be one you would hear at a school conference, or at a drug abuse program. But somehow I got here. That next morning I thought about ending my own life. I didn't want this to be my story anymore. But than this random thought popped into my head. I believe its because of all the people that had been praying for me through this time. I thought "you know, you've never really given Jesus a real shot." I thought that was weird. But I was already thinking before I die I want to try some things. I mean at this point I am willing to die. I have nothing to loose. So that morning I decided I was going to give Jesus a shot. I prayed something along the lines of. Jesus I don't even believe in you, but I am giving you a shot. Whatever you say goes, I fill follow you. I am all in.

The first thing I realized Jesus did was serve people. So I got my serving license to be a server at a restaurant. I applied at a bunch of different restaurants in different cities around me and asked God to open and close doors for me. I only got a call back from one restaurant. I got hired right away. I had to move cities to take this job, but I was following Jesus. I tried starting my own church, and actually started to grow pretty quickly. I had no idea what I was doing so I got connected to some older spiritual leaders. They connected me to a church. This church is now where I spend majority of my time. I quickly got connected to the worship team and was playing music at the church. I ended up doing an internship program at this church, where I lived in the building to do it. Through this program I radically encounter God, and gained a lot of experience. The next year I was brought onto a leadership team for our student ministry program. This year I became the director of student ministry at my church which is crazy to me. And only possible with God.

I am now 100% sober. I am exited, passionate and my life feels like an adventure. I live with an amazing community of people around me. My relationships with my family are very healthy. And I have the most amazing job in the world. It doesn't feel like a job, because I would do it for free. There is no way I would ever give up my life now to be the most famous rock star in the world. I encounter and experience God regularly. I totally believe in God, and also believe all things are possible with him. I also believe god is up to something. ANd that if we listen and look closely his finger prints are all around us. You must realize that my life is only the way it is because God has entered into it. He has turned my life around with his furious love and radical grace.

Now a days I still have a hard time sleeping. But its not because I have anxiety or feel depressed. It is because I am so excited about what god is doing, and love my life so much that a lot of days I can't sleep because I don't want today to end, and I can't wait for tomorrow to come.

The Little Things About God ( God brings comfort, brings strength and courage, and speaks through people)

Recently my father & I have had a major falling out. It has struck me very hard because he and I have always been super close – like best friends! I could tell him anything, he knew a lot of my secrets, insecurities, and fears, and I thought nothing could ever break that.

I’ve taken this really hard time in my life to focus on God and to try and figure out how I can learn and grow in Him. In doing so, I have learned 2 extremely valuable things:

1. God is the best father I could ever ask for! He is always there for me, He gives me the best advice, He never has an ulterior motive, and He’ll be brutally honest when He needs to be. He’s never going to tell me something just because it’s what I want to hear, but He’s also never going to belittle or degrade me. I am His precious daughter, His princess, and His pride and joy — He loves me so deeply.

2. God has blessed me with an amazing support group! This situation has forced me to move out of my comfort zone and really get close and vulnerable with friends and other family. I don’t usually feel comfortable sharing my feelings or problems, but this has been too hard to bear on my own. In this process, God proved to me that He has placed people in my life who genuinely care about me! They are so supportive and amazing and I love them all so much! I would have never realized this if I hadn’t been forced into a situation of vulnerability and suffering.

If any of you are going through a situation that seems too hard to handle and it feels unfixable, I urge you to turn to God! He loves you more than you could ever imagine and He will show you just how much that is true! Through His word, the people in your life, and other amazing and unimaginable ways, He will speak truth into your life and shine light into your darkness! You are so very loved!

God impacts family, answers prayer and breaks addiction.

Many people think alcoholics cant change. But nothing is impossible for God when i was 4 i accepted God as my savior. I began going to church with my grandma my dad was an alcoholic, he would drink every day when my dad was drunk it was like he wasnt my dad. But one day i was in church and i saw all the girls with thier dads i felt sad that i was one of the girls with out a christian dad. Iask my missionets teacher, Nora how can i bring my dad to church her advice to me was pray for your dad and ask your heavily father to help you. When i got home i tried talking to my dad but he yelled at me and told me there was no God cause if God really did exist why didnt he give us a better place to live cause at the moment we lived in a apartment and we were about to get kicked out, and we had no where else to go. At that moment i said All things are possible through God. My dad looked at me and told me to leave and every night i would pray for my dad and my dad knew i prayed for him and every day i talked to him about God after like 6months while i was praying for my dad. My dad came and kneed down next to me when saw my dad my eyed filled up with tears of joy my dad also began to cry. The next day we went to church, i will never forget that day my dad and i walked in to church and thats the day my dad gave his life to God. And that day my dad gave up drinking and thanks to God he hasnt done it since. Now im 15 and my family and i live to serve the God.
