SO. parsley talks a bit to the kids. they're obviously there for a reason and he's curious as to why someone so young is there. well! you know. it's usually not having awesome parents, as it's a reoccurring theme.
after they get out of the Habitat and go to town, Parsley takes it upon himself to sue and to get them out of their abusive homes! ends up winning, of course. he adopts trevor! lulia and Jeraffina adopt timtam and habit and kamal adopt putunia.
Jimothan is super happy. he really loves to feed into Trevor's theory of him and parsley being demons (which is somewhat true.) by standing around with his glowing eyes n teeth omniously. the first time trevor calls parsley dad makes him cry! also. parsley quits his job at banking, moving back in with his dad to support trevor more n be there for him. in this essay i will

I got a call at work earlier today from Dr. Habit. He isn’t my doctor, but he was advertising his Habitat to some townsfolk.
Well, what is it? I asked.
Instead of an answer, he told me he had a website. Pens and sticky notes all but make up my entire job, so I scrawled down the URL.
And he said that if I was interested, I should call him right bakc! I am awake all the time!
Which, while weird, helps me out at two in the morning, when I, too, am not sleeping.
I wouldn’t be doing this at any other time.
It’s inviting. He seems nice.
I could use a retreat…
The phone number on the website glows. I find my hand reaching for my roommate’s phone— since I don’t have one of my own— and dialing the number.
The phone rings.
Dr. Habit answers.
“Oh, hello. I’m… You called this afternoon, the flower shop? We talked a bit about the Habitat. I think I am interested, if there’s, um, any room for me.”
…
“Um, one week. Is that okay?”

“And payment?”
…
“Okay, I see… Oh, um- no! No, not a problem at all. Can I call back on Thursday with my information?”
“Twenty and Eligible” FITS, because the whole joke is that I’m almost 21 but people keep mistaking me for being a kid (just like irl) but I am not sure I want to name the fic after the running joke that half-ends on Day 4
