Support for Protest Actions in Sacramento and Beyond
What’s Up Sac is Rooting for Everybody Black.Â
What’s Up Sac is pivoting to support the protesters who are marching in solidarity with Minneapolis and in support of the Movement 4 Black Lives. In Sacramento, these protests have been largely peaceful, with some looting and destruction after dark. Regardless, we believe the right of the people to peaceably assemble should not be infringed upon or impeded, and we honor the commitment of individuals willing to put their bodies on the front lines for black liberation. To that end, today’s newsletter is focused on providing links to organizations and individuals who are organizing, protesting, and leading change in our community. Please share this newsletter with your friends, family, and colleagues.Â
