Hey everyone, welcome to my corner of Tumblr. Since this page has gotten some hate already… I'm pinning this to lay out exactly who I am, what I do, and the rules of engagement for my blog.

I don’t just talk about these topics as a hobby. I am speaking from a foundation of lived experience, academic expertise, and professional training.

I’m a 26 year old autistic trans man. He/they pronouns and I really don’t care much as long as you don’t use she/her. I am unequivocally antifascist if I smell it on you I will DNI before I can blink.

Education: I hold a Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) and a Bachelor’s in Psychology, with a heavy specialization in Gender Studies.

Expertise: I have read extensive literature on gender theory, queer history, and healthcare. Furthermore, I have personally authored multiple papers focusing specifically on gender-affirming care. Sorry I believe in intersectional feminism and that oppression is not hierarchal systemically. Persons can experience more or less oppression personally but literature proves the hierarchical argument leads to more infighting than progress. This not me saying if you have one form of oppression, you can throw your hands up and not unlearn your privilege in other parts of your identity, I am actually saying the exact opposite.

If we are debating or discussing these topics on my blog, please respect the work and education I’ve put into this field.

Zero Tolerance Policy

This is a safe space for learning, community, and solidarity. It is not a debate club for your prejudices. I have a strict zero-tolerance policy for hate speech or harassment.

Absolutely none of the following will be tolerated here:

Transmisandry and Transmisogyny

Ableism

Racism and Bigotry of any form

Gaslighting, bullying, or general bad-faith trolling

Good faith rule: if you are speaking to me out of good faith and not to be phobic but out of differing opinion or understanding this is fine. I expect the same in response.

Consequences of Fucking Around

If you choose to bring hate or bigotry into my blog, two things will happen:

1. I will publicize your nonsense. I will readily post your response and feed you to the non-bigots on this dash for their entertainment.

2. You will be blocked. I will block you and laugh at you. You are not entitled to my time or my energy.

A Note on Threats:

If you threaten me physically or in any real-world capacity, I will document it. I keep a dedicated file of information, and if I compile enough identifying information on you, I will report you directly to the authorities. Do not test me on this.

It really is a certain kind of infuriating to see the way some people just… label autistic trans mascs as aggressive when they don’t sit down and take abuse, when they get upset when they’re treated poorly, and then go on and claim that trans masc person is being some kind of phobic with a level of tone-deafness that shows they really only consider these kinds of issues as important when it can be used to benefit them.

If passing trans men have male privilege because they look like cis men, then boymoding trans women have male privilege because they look like cis men.

But since trans women who boymode DON'T have male privilege, then logically neither do passing trans men.

"Trans men aren't as oppressed as trans women! Look at all these laws targeting trans women but not trans men!"

is as useless of a statement as,

"Lesbians aren't as oppressed as gay men! Look at all these laws targeting gay men but not lesbians!"

I'd be rightfully chastised for saying the latter, but apparently the former is just "transfeminism 101" to some people.

And to be clear, there are STILL places in the world where male homosexuality is punished but female homosexuality isn't. Would you say that queer women are privileged in these places? NO! You would recognise that the methods for oppressing queerness often differs based on the gender one is socially imposed upon birth.

The oppression of transmasculine people is often enacted in ways similar to that of cis women, especially cis queer women. These include tactics such as corrective rape/forced pregnancy and being dismissed as "confused" and "delusional," but also "predatory Evil Women who are going to Corrupt Your Daughters."

Unfortunately, this means a lot of trans men must be considered "not real men" in order to have their experiences validated. Transgender theory and mainstream transfeminism has failed in this regard. Since the idea of "a man being oppressed for being a man" is counterintuitive to decades of feminist thought, it is rejected outright.

Some say, "you're not oppressed for being a man, you're oppressed for being trans" as if those are distinct categories in this context.

If a trans man were not trans, they would be a cisgender woman. People have gotten so far into theory they are forgetting the real people behind these labels.

Did I just employ the "Treat Them Like You are A Kindergarten Teacher Again" method with my insurance company today? I surely did. Did it work? Probably better than intended because I made an actual doctor feel contrite.

So, my insurance has been trying to not cover my SNRI because it is new on the market and no generic available yet, so pricey.

I apply for a refill and the request gets locked for review. Again. For the 3rd time.

This time I call and immediately ask to speak to the actual doctor making these clinical decisions. Very politely. Must be a slow day because they allow it.

ME: [Teacher voice] I'm calling in regards to the SNRI you have placed a lock on. Why was this decision made?

DOC: Well, there are dozens of other medications on the market in that tier, and far cheaper for you and [insurer]. We have sent a request to your doctor to consider alternatives.

ME: I am aware of that. So, can you do me a HUGE favor and look up my prescription history really quickly and tell me how many SSRIs and SNRIs were only filled once in 2022 for me, showing they were poorly tolerated?

DOC: It looks like eight.

ME: Great job! Now, can you please look at my genetic test for psychiatric drug tolerance and tell me how many medications are listed in the safe category?

DOC: Two.

ME: Awesome! Now, can you tell me what type that other drug is that I'm not taking?

DOC: Yeah, totally, it's an MAOI.

ME: That's correct, you're really knowledgeable! Should I be taking something as dangerous as an MAOI with my other medications, or even just in general?

DOC: It's contraindicated for sure.

ME: It is! So true! So, last question since you've been incredibly smart and helpful. Is it less expensive for [insurer] to pay out for the medication knowing they already get a huge manufacturer discount anyway, or is it more expensive for them to pay for me to need potentially long-term inpatient psychiatric care?

DOC: I'll clear the code, ma'am and flag it as medically necessary. I'm sorry about this.

ME: I appreciate you SO MUCH. You have a great day now.

A cis women's right to comfort should not be more valued then a trans man's right to medical care.

A queer person's right to comfort should not be more valued then a trans man's right to take space in their community.

I do not care if cis women and some other queer people are uncomfortable with "passing" trans men being at the gynecologist, at the planned parenthood, at the homeless shelter, at the SA survivor meeting, at the trans pride event, at the queer resource center, or with us just existing. Trans men's right to exist and to be treated like human beings should not be disrespected or disregarded becouse some of you think testosterone or facial hair or butchness or masculinity or phalloplasty somehow gives you cooties.

The comments on this video are absolutely fucking disgusting, a TRANS man came onto tiktok wanting to know why trans men are often excluded from queer spaces.

Clearly he is upset that he isnt invited to a lot of spaces because he passes as a cis man, of course I make the dumb mistake of opening the comments.

Being bi and just recently figuring it out, I'm really starting to realize how much it pisses me off that it's somehow accepted in a lot of queer spaces to just write men off as unlovable. It's done to both cis and trans men, and tbh it's really fucking bothering me. Why do we put up with that? Why do we just let people write off almost half the fucking population? It's shit. Just cause it isn't a form of institutional bigotry like misogyny or homophobia doesn't make it right, doesn't mean there's a good reason to hurt people like that.

idk, I just think it's innately wrong to call anybody unlovable for their gender; didn't realize that'd be controversial. At the same time though, treating people as less worthy of care and compassion for something so simple seems to be depressingly normalized, so much so that I didn't always bat an eye at it.

It ain't right, yall deserve love too, and care, and tenderness, and affection. Don't for a second feel that you don't.

People who “don’t believe in transandrophobia” or “don’t believe that transmascs experience misogyny” are participating in mass trauma denialism towards a marginalized group and I think we should call it what it is more.

They’re calling traumatized people whiny bitches and cunts and telling them they should shut up… literally just for openly acknowledging and talking about the (very often) traumatic ways they’ve been treated for being transmasc specifically and/or being a transmasc person perceived as a woman on some level.
