heâd kept good on his promise to his sister, but that didnât mean he had to be thrilled about it. he wondered if he could get out of the deal by leaking his own baby pictures, but he knew that as serious as she was about the images, that they were never the real threat, and that ruby would find something else to hold over his head - something that would actually hurt him enough to return to degrassi without argument. though she never directly mentioned their parents, she eluded more than enough to remind leo that they were precisely why he needed to stay the course and not give up on his life and responsibilities, and while he knew that without the implication, he didnât have the heart to ever fail them twice. heâd agreed to go back to school and he did, but he never specified whether he would attend each class on his first day back, and presently he had manned himself a post in the back of the empty art room, the graphite he was white knuckling taunting him and his blank paper. the stark white seemed to grow brighter as each minute ticked by without anything appearing, leoâs jaw tense at the lack of imagery in his brain and thus, the utter inability to translate anything onto a canvas. growing antsy, he stood to his feet to pace for a moment, walking off the tension he felt as he tried to think of something, anything that he wanted to sketch, the irony being that heâd come to do so specifically to blow off some stress and was now left with twice as much. the brain fog was a new thing for him, hands down one of the more frustrating facets of the accident, and now as it built in his head, leaking into his chest and settling in his stomach, it was more than he was willing to bear, unclipping the canvas before swiftly chucking it across the room with all the might of... the functional arm of a former high school athlete, unaware someone had entered a moment before the outburst.
