left my new torch in narnia for them to do absolutely nothing with it--

how on earth was Narnia the same technology-wise when the Pevensies left in LWW and when they returned in Prince Caspian.  It was 1300 years. In less time than that we went from “hello I am peasant please my lord let me keep the wheat that I have harvested for you” to “the United States of America’s President is getting impeached over a corruption scandal involving a telephone”

I’m don’t recall them ever calling him a nickname but if they did it would be ‘Pete’ which indeed is monosyllabic
