I haven't dbd in a while and opened the game just to look at Shane's stuff. And when I saw him in full regalia I was so SO stunned. Because I don't think I've ever once seen regalia in a video game. I never even see it in movies unless its a documentary.

The idea of wearing it during a match is a bit funny to me only because like imagine you were at a very special ballet recital and we're suddenly in a tutu running around generators except regalia is much more significant culturally

But what also got me was the fact that every single bead laid down while making regalia or anything is done with intention. And it was made with somebody he loves dearly. And if hopefully done with cultural respect in mind (I only say because game dev crunch and schedule is real) somebody laid down every single bead, stitch and pixel of his regalia with good intention. Good medicine and a lot of love and care for their own community.

And I can't even describe just how special that is or how emotional it makes me

— For me, just like in the comic, Miguel can get hard on himself when it comes to duty as a Spider-man, even putting himself in more danger almost recklessly. Most because, as shown in the movie, of that stubborness for asking for help, he wants to do everything by himself, can be due to still being a bit of a cocky or the feeling that this is his burden and only his to carry.
