This little slice of Americana is the perfect snapshot of classic diners from the sixties and seventies, “Hamburger Haven, come check it out!”.

I took this with an app that I’ve since deleted and forgot. I think it looks cool.

Humphry Slocombe | San Francisco
As I was exploring the Southern Mission with jerjohns, speciifically 24th Street, we happened to turn a corner and bam, there was Humphry Slocombe, the acclaimed San Francisco ice cream parlour known for it’s funky flavors. Sad to say it was my first time visiting and trying their ice cream. They just opened a new location at the Ferry Building next to my office, but the lines are long still. I was pleasantly surprised by the nuanced flavors of their ice cream and nothing was too sweet. I had the Elvis the Fat Years, which was a delicate banana ice cream with peanut bacon brittle. Delicious. Not too sweet or intense (aka artifical) banana flavor. I also ordered a foie gras sammy, because why the hell not? It was sweet and creamy, with just that little bit of foie earthyness. So damn good!

brandon originally thought up the stage design for fidlar’s burgerama set this year and we worked on it with max and zoe every day leading up to the show. everything was made entirely out of cardboard we scavenged from our friend’s work, plus some lightbulbs and paint. we started making them at our place but they filled up the apartment really fast and the whole project got moved to max’s roof. i’m stoked on how they turned out, hope you all liked it!! diy! Like a beast awakening from a yearlong slumber, the Los Angeles based surfer-skater trouble makers have announced a cram packed month...
After an unusually quiet year, FIDLAR announces their first tour of 2015 in this cleverly edited video announcement
This lo-fi surfer-post-punk trio has their roots in, what is perhaps the absolutely most unlikely place for a lo-fi surfer-post-punk trio...
Being a late twenty-something live show enthusiast it becomes normal to see the bands hitting the stage getting younger and younger. In the immortal words of Matther McConaughey's character from Dazed & Confused, "I keep getting older and they just keep getting younger." It's refreshing to see such a playful and energetic band fronted by thirty-something year olds.
Originally, Bass Drum of Death was a one-man show starring John Barrett equipped with nothing but a bass drum, a guitar and a glorious head of long golden locks...
With Burgerama a little over a month away I've decided to showcase the performers I'm most excited to see hit the stage at Burger Records 4th annual festival. This will be Bass Drum of Death's first time taking to the stage at Burgerama.
I was lucky enough to catch the Bass Drum of Death trio at the American American Music Hall last year and was anything but disappointed. With three albums to pull tracks from their 45 minute sets pack powerful punches that cause mayhem in the crowds.
Tickets for Burgerama 4 are still on sale, but due to sell out, so snag some passes while you still can! 2 Day General Admission Passes are $90, VIP 2 Day Passes (with lots of goodies) will run you $120 and Single Day Passes are only $47.50
