“Field medicine or carry you to a hospital? If we’re careful it’ll only take a few seconds to get to the hospital.”

He groaned “I don’t know pick.”

Pietro looked over the wound slowly, “Hospital will be better. Hold on metal man. I’m definitely going to have to brace your neck.” Pietro lifted Tony up and braced his neck. “Say the word and we’re there.

“Huh?” He groaned out wincing in pain

“Is that you concerning to me running you to a hospital or you expressing confusion?”

:I have no idea what you just said. Just go.”

“Right-o! One express trip to the hospital coming up!” Pietro took off running. The first three hospitals were overcrowded and the fourth…well he definitely did not see thorough hand washing before the surgery he ran by. Fifth was down in Philadelphia. He slid to a stop inside the ambulance entrance. “Yo nurses and or doctors, I got a casualty of the New York City attacks. Please save him! He’s kind of my friend and I’m too young to lose one.”

“K-Kind of your friend? Seriously Pietro?’ He groaned out

“I mean you have metal armor. It’s safer for you to be kind of a friend. That way Dad doesn’t feel the need to interrogate you,” Pietro said.

My parents are probably getting a divorce, dad wants it, mom doesn’t. Dad is cheating on mom, dad is lying to mom, sis, and I, dad either has memory problems related to the long term effects of concussions or is gaslighting my mom, dad doesn’t want mom to get a part time job in addition to her full time job to help pay off their credit card debts and mortgage, dad doesn’t want mom to temporarily move in with his mom. Mom doesn’t want a divorce, mom thinks this could be avoided if she was a “better wife”, mom used to have gaslighting problems but is dealing with it in therapy, mom is trying to keep as much of this as she can from 20yo sister and I (24yo) even though hello, yes, affects us too. Much of what I know my mom and sister know about what my dad’s up to I have been sworn to keep secret from him. Much of it has been kept secret for two or more years at this point so like, duh I don’t mind keeping it secret longer.

In other news, Natasha Romanov (the cat, not the character) hasn’t left me alone for two days now because she seems to be able to sense how badly this is affecting me. It’s to the point where she won’t even let me potty alone. And she’s ignoring her catnip toys. Child doesn’t ignore her catnip toys for anything except, apparently, my emotional distress.

Look at that helpful little cutie. Also the still not unpacked boxes.

In other other news, with gf’s permission, I have extended an invitation to my little sister that any weekend she needs to escape our parents house, she is welcome to our couch.
