Something about Christopher Nolan shooting The Odyssey in only IMAX film sits kinda weird with me. Like what do you mean everyone else who doesnt have access to the 41 big IMAX screens (34 of which are in the North American continent (there's only 1 screen that size in Australia (where I live), 6 in the continent of Europe, and NONE in African/Asian countries)) will not be able to see the full frames of the movie? Will not be able to see the whole movie as intended?? Feels... I don't know. Elitist?? Classist? Definitely giving me something and it's both feeling weird and icky.
I am a walking contradiction, I've learned to live with it, I walk a tightrope everyday so why does this contradiction bug me so hard? I can balance everything else, I don't mind being unconventional or weird but why doesn't it work when it comes to religion? I thought I'd be fine, you know, christopagan. Just do both right?
It's not working, I can't do both for some reason. And it's not like I can even pick one because obviously religion doesn't work like that. I'm stuck and I've been so for months.
I've gone to church and felt love but I've also been with my pagan deities and felt it as well. Both feel like a lie. I know I wholeheartedly believed in Christianity as a kid and I know I believed wholeheartedly in the gods some months ago. But my brain just can't reconcile the two.
