If there was ever a Radio Silence movie it should be set in 2018 and the YouTuber should be Phil Lester in a terrible wig.

Something I think about sometimes is how Amphibia and the Owl House airing at the same time led me to clearly compare them. From that I’ve always recognized the main difference was that in the Owl House protagonists need to embrace who they are and Amphibia was about people who recognized a need to change.
Jamie was an icon for taking a nap while there was an imminent threat of cybermen invading earth
I feel it may go against the energy of the Heartstopper tv show, but I’ve always thought it would have been funny if instead of asking who Michael Holden is when he enters Tao just asked “Is that Michael Fucking Holden?” Because I feel like that’s the energy everyone is giving when he shows up in Solitaire.
Every so often I think about the episode of Star Trek where they dressed a dog as an alien, and there were supposed to be two of them but they couldn’t afford two dogs, so occasionally it was a dog and a stuffed animal. It will always be funny to me
I recently rewatched Ducktales and multiple characters say the children should be in school. I have to agree with the villains that perhaps these children should go to school. Actually Huey and Webby will be fine they’re very smart
I like how often things explode in Classic Doctor Who. I know it was possibly a safety hazard, but I like that they said we don’t need this prop/set/model anymore and then lit it on fire or blew it up.
I’ve been thinking about what I would define as an Optimistic children’s show protagonist recently and the main criteria for me are:
1. Solves problems through the power of friendship or positivity
2. Avoid violence if possible
The three main examples I thought of were Steven Universe, Kipo Oak, and Oscar Peltzer. One of those characters lives in a very different world story wise than the other two.
A Radio Silence adaptation set in 2025 would be wild
