finally get to leave prison the hospital after 3 months but i don't have a bed at my moms house (where i will be staying) and I Need That bc like. i cant even sit up unsupported rn really. so i need one that raises and reclines and those are really expensive so idrk what to do there. rn its just gonna be a mattress on the floor and idk if i can even get OFF the floor lmao

i need a shower chair too. and a handheld shower head that ill need help installing at bare minimum đ just gonna have to use shower wipes for now but its hard to get clean enough just using those and i have a large wound i need to keep clean and a central line
got really really sick so im at the hospital for at least the weekend but this is still necessary and urgent
have $66 so far. also will have to hire someone to install the shower head bc my mom cant lift her arms above her shoulders well and im not mobile enough to do it either
please. everyone deserves to be able to clean themself and sit up in bed. i cant shower without the shower head at all because the surgeons left me with an open wound that they refuse to close up and are likely never going to so its gonna have to heal on its own and i cant get it wet so a handheld shower head is the only way i can avoid that part of my abdomen

Black woman invents or popularises a phrase -> it enters the vernacular and circulates widely amongst Black and nonblack people -> people removed from the phrase's initial context read it too literally, do not interpret it with sensitivity, assume that the ideas expressed when people use it are shallow / "over"-sexualised / problematic in some way or another that mirrors their feelings about Black people as a whole -> there is a backlash where a supposedly more 'thoughtful,' 'subversive,' etc. alternative to the initial phrase is offered, implying that the initial phrase contained none of that complexity within it -> rinse & repeat

hi so recently there was a very strong earthquake in Venezuela that left so many people deeply affected including my family that lives there. The government obviously doesn't have the means to help its people with the current economic situation and all so I would really appreciate some monetary help as my grandpa and aunt are currently struggling, their home is barely livable at this point (theres multiple cracks in the infraestructure) and they're in dire need of basic need products (food is scarce due to the high demand) There's also some direct friends of the family that were deeply affected and I would like to help them too, any dollar or sharing helps

i had to go to the hospital for a procedure and while i was gone they moved me out of my room and threw out the food i had in the fridge. i cant have groceries here apparently so yeah im gonna have to just order delivery because they wont accommodate my diet and i need to focus on diet especially right now because unless my albumin levels raise they won't do my surgery and ill be stuck here even longer
okay i was able to get the chair because they exchanged it! i got a preorder model so it will be coming in august. anything extra is going towards food again bc there's not really anything of substance i can eat here
