there's a supergirl shaped crevice in the sidewalk, and supergirl is lying in it, fully conscious but bone tired. she could fly out from the gravel dust if she felt like it, she just doesn't feel like it, yet.

she's staring up at the sky, and while a few people have stolen a glance downwards, this is the first time a person is really staring back.

"heyyy," a half-hearted wave, "i know this looks bad... i'm okay though. see?" kara points to the crest on her chest, "all good."
