Kid sat upright in her bed, face burried in her hands and tried to calm her ragged breath when she heard the voice and looked up, shaking her head. “Nah. I’m good. No worries.”

"Sure whatever." Kid rubbed over her eyes, already feeling sleepy again. "I’ll go then. Don’t wake me if the ships not sinking." Giving a serious glare she nodded and went back, letting herself fall in her bed.

The was a disappointing answer, you could see it on the raven’s face, his excitement faded and replaced with a frown. They don’t know about each other? They’re strangers to each other? That was so strange, Luffy felt as if he could write a book (minus the horrible grammar) on each of his friends, explaining their history, their likes, their dislikes, how many hours of sleep got, their favorite food and so on.

"But… aren’t you guys all friends?"

"Friends....that's an...interesting definition."The naga hummed quietly."I believe it must be weird for you,since you and your crew are so close to eachother,but not all pirates are friends with their mates."Ophelia stood silent for a while,taking a long sip of her tea before speaking again."Captain and the others must be friends.They are just not very open to show this to the world,but when we're in the middle of the ocean,with only the Kid pirates in the ship,they tend to interact a lot.The thing is,I'm not a part of that interaction.I prefer to simply watch from outside."

The Kidd pirates were normal? Yeah, right! Luffy actually chuckled at that, laughing because of how ironic the statement was! Even him, an outsider, could already tell how strange and unique the other crew was. Then again, when you only known one crew, only known the way things work on your own ship, everything else did seem pretty different. For example, his own crew was normal to him but… very… questionable to others.

Yet, there was one character in particular that interested him most.

"What’s the deal with that helmet guy!?" Killer.

Ophelia hummed softly,pouring the tea into two cups,handing one to him."You mean Killer?I don't know much about him either.He doesn't open with others much,just with captain I guess.We don't interact out of the necessary."The naga said,sitting in a comfy armchair close to him and sipping her drink,her long white tail curling around the base of the furniture.

♞- "I didn’t meam to… i’m so.. shit I should" , bright eyes looked away quickly, shoving himself up with a burst of energy that scared even him as he stumbled backwards.

♞-"But you fight when needed. You know Kid wouldn’t let you on the crew if you wouldn’t." Anyone else would be seen as a dead weight, in his eyes and Kid’s, so it was best in her interest, and everyone elses, to fight.

"Of course I do.But let's be honest,it is very rare for this crew to find a situation where they need me to help in the fights."Ophelia spoke.Since Killer didn't knew about what happened inside that temple,he had no idea Kid just accepted her in the crew because he had no other choice.The redhead captain would have been forced to accept her,whether she was willing to fight or not.

Kid shrugged and threw one of the pills in her mouth, grimacing as she swallowed it. “Tch, couldn’t care less about bloody dreams. As long as I can sleep normally I’ll be good.”

"The medicine is perfect for you then."The doctor said,humming softly."Come to me if you feel something weird while taking them.Just as a precaution.Some organisms react different to the components of those pills."

The island was another well traveled one, making it easy to walk into a busy area in attempts to lose some marines that had been eyeing him curiously. The best thing he could do right now was attempt to get lost and blend into the crowd and possible do some shopping while he was at it. He didn’t know if the looks of his wanted poster were a blessing or a curse, as he usually referred to the later, but it seemed to have paid off for now. It wasn’t long before he found a stall to slink behind and keep low, and pass some time there.

Ophelia didn't wanted to leave the ship in that island,too crowded for her tastes.Yet,there were a big amout of missing herbs in her stock.She had to replace it,and she didn't trusted any of the other crew members to buyt them for her.Since people shouldn't know that the Kid's pirates were in the island,it made her trip even more troublesome. It was quite hard not to bring attention to herself when your skin is white as a sheet of paper and you have the body of an albino snake instead of legs.Every time she left the ship and didn't wanted to be noticed she'd use a wheelchair that they had in the ship with a blanket covering her tail as well as a hat or something that covered her face partially.

Kai’s slightly unsure of his captains call as he stands in the office with Wire, Heat and Killer. The young sharpshooter was hardly ever called to join this little group, and he wasn’t all sure if he should be surprise or not that Ophelia, too, was joining them. Still, he doesn’t question captains orders and here he is waiting for the explanations to start. Quietly, once the snake doctor had finally joined them, he’d sat down in one of the seats and awaited his Captain’s explanation, which was quick and too the point. When it comes to the topic of someone or something challenging the Kidd pirates, he was none but eager to acknowledge. Kai almost finds this both rather intriguing and foolish of his captain, but gladly joins along regardless. At the current moment, he just waits for the man to get to his original business of summoning them all.

"Last night when we were at the bar,I overheard some talking.Two idiots were talking shit about our crew,I got them in the back,but I also found out that they weren't the only ones.They were part from a gang of bandits of this island and they all think that it is funny to say that our crew is weak,and we got where we are now by pure luck.I won't take some crappy thieves talking bullshit about my crew."The captain spoke. By Kid's frown,it was clear that he was truly pissed with the case."I could do it myself,but they are a pretty big gang,and they are in spreaded through the island,and I don't want to loose too much time on this."The redhead said,resting back on his chair."That's why I called you guys here.You'll split in duos and cover each area of the island.I'm going with Killer to cover the northern part."He said,poiting at the a big part of the map."Heat,Wire,you two go to the southeast.Now,you Kai will go with Ophelia to cover the rest of the territory.I want to see if you are really worth being in this crew and can deffend it's honour properly.You need to be done with that until tomorrow evening."

The naga had no reaction.Surely,it was a bit bothering for her to have to leave the ship and go after those bandits,but she couldn't ignore captain's orders."Very well then."She said,standing up."I believe we should leave as soon as possible then."

“Yeah! I like tea!" Luffy repeated to her as she prepared the tea. "Tell Jasmine I said thanks!" Clearly the rubber man had misunderstood and was currently assuming there was a cook named Jasmine on the Kidd pirates, an easy mistake for someone as dull as himself when it came to tea and common sense.

"And you already know so much about my crew! That’s so cool! So what’s your crew like?!"

Ophelia stared at him for a moment,noticing his silly mistake,but didn't commented anything.Starting to fuse the tea,the naga turned her back to him in order to work on the teapot.The actual reason that she had researched so much about the strawhat crew was not only because they were interesting for her,but because knowing your enemy is always an advantage. "I don't have much to say about them.They are normal,I guess.I don't spend much time with the others,I don't leave my room and the sick bay much."

♞- The statement was quite true, he hadn’t a problem with being a mean person, exceptions coming with children and most innocent people, not her. "I’d say that’s an accurate statement, Ophelia but, you’re on this crew for a reason other than a doctor."

"I can't deny that.But our crew have enough fighters already,I'm not that necessary in that function."Ophelia said calmly.The naga had no problems in fighting,but she wouldn't do it if she could.Not because she didn't liked to hurt people,but because she found it more as a waste of time.

Leave it to Luffy to forget about just how infamous him and his crew really was. Even if he was, for whatever strange reason, to not become the king of the pirates, he had already made so much history that his name wouldn’t ever be forgotten. Just as all the Super novas had. Speaking of such, it was safe to assume most of them had done research on their rivals. It wasn’t at surprising for her to know about Zoro or even Sanji or Nami or the rest of his crew.

Both Eustass Kidd, Trafalgar Law, Monkey D. Luffy and the rest of the pirates in the New World…

They were all famous criminals.
