He volunteers to babysit Shadowheart's hypothetical werewolf babies as long as she gets him gloves. He tries to give Gale a hero moniker like his own. He jokes that his father, the Grand Duke of Baldur's Gate, can't spell. He calls Astarion "Mister Fangs". He makes up storybook chapter names for his own fucking adventures. As a child he got chased by the Flaming Fist for stealing fruit, nearly drowned trying to find mermaids in the harbor, and almost successfully broke into the Counting House. He reads monster erotica, and is not ashamed to tell you about it. He ranks eating pudding among life's greatest moments. He will, without shame and completely unprompted, meow at you. He is 24 years old.

You know, The Doctor's ego is such a fascinating part of their character. Because they act like it's massive, and to a certain extent it is. But they also have such low self-esteem under it all. Like they have a genuine fundamental belief that their life doesn't matter beyond the usefulness they find for themselves in helping others. They are always willing to lay down their life for pretty much any cause, and they have a fundamental belief that nobody will care.

For example, take The Wedding of River Song, River nearly destroyed the universe to tell the Doctor that the universe cared about him, and he still didn't believe it. Instead the lesson he took from that was that he had too much of an impact and needed to be forgotten. He literally began to delete himself and let the universe believe he had died, because he thought it was a bad thing that he was valued (yes, there were negative consequences to it, namely the Silence, but they still ended up happening and there was a massive negative consequence to the Daleks forgetting him, if you listen to the Eleventh Doctor Chronicles audios)

Another example is the audio Find and Replace, where the 3rd Doctor tried to replace himself in Jo's memory with Iris Wildthyme, because he thought she wouldn't mind, and it would be safer for her. And he didn't believe she would have any objections to that because he didn't believe that he had actually mattered to her.

There's also the stuff with the Time War, and the Doctor's belief that they aren't actually the Doctor, that it is an ideal they strive for but will never reach because they consider themselves to be a bad person, and that the War Doctor was their true self, a terrible monster, rather than what he actually was, a good man forced to do terrible things by inescapable circumstances.

An extremely right wing pro life Christian weirdo attempts to make Christian video games but fails miserably and then immediately pivots to making one of the most iconic horror games of all time. Which is based on the Chuck E Cheese restaurant franchise. The game turns into a long running series with the most prominent reoccurring themes being stranger danger tropes, child death and mutilation, the things fathers do to their children, and the corruption of innocence. On at least one occasion he totally flipped out about people implying his work had CSA/abuse themes and called it degenerate. The series is incredibly preoccupied with the concept of immortal souls. It practically invented multiple other separate genres of online video media. Most fans of the series have never played it. It is now, functionally, a series for children.

And while I know he does speak English that doesn’t mean he IS speaking English all the time. It would be so funny to have a bit in the show where he’s like arguing with The Rani or The Master and the Tardis glitches or something and suddenly they’re just yelling in Gallifreyan and all the companions are just like????
