SO it’s been a while

And I decided to come back because I really really REALLY need to find some new friends to RP with. So far I’ve been relying on one friend and it’s not fair to do that.  And our universes have gotten so extended and intermingled that it’s hard to remember who is in which doing what. So I decided to come here to find some new people, some new games, to entertain myself.  I don’t really do well on forum based rps, because I get lost, or left behind so often.  My limits are:  Third person, paragraph style. Story based, relativly nonsexual. I can do sexual rps but it can’t be the ONLY thing the RP is about. I don’t generally like “normal” or “Real life” rps. So no coffeeshop AUs or anything like that.  I do like romantic rps, fantasy rps, medival or high fantasy worlds. DRAGONS, if it involves dragons, I am ON IT like white on rice!  I don’t generally do first person or present tense as the kinda make me uncomfortable.  I also do not rp anything heterosexual. I don’t mind females mixed in because that’s just the way life works but I do not do male/female pairings. I don’t mind playing the female best friend or a female throw away but they have to be background noise. I’m sorry that’s just how I roleplay.  This will probably go ignored and forgotten but hey? I can always hope.

My Black Cat, Shinigami, was the last kitten in her cage, even her MUM had been adopted.  I’ve decided that I, when I can afford it, will always have a black and an orange cat. I’ve had one black and one orange cat pretty much my whole life.  I will ALWAYS adopt a black cat!

John had had WAY too much to drink. It was all Greg’s fault and he would DIE proclaiming it to the highest rooftops! Slumping in the taxi on the way home, John looked down at his legs, streaching them in the back of the taxi. Sherlock couldn’t do this, his drunken mind whispered, his ass was too freaking tall! Suddenly, his mobile was in his hand, and he was squinting to see the keypad. You know what I’ve always wondered.....how to tall people like you actually sleep at night when the blanket can’t possibly cover you shoulders to toes??

In the two minutes between hitting send and receving the response, John had almost forgotten he’d sent it. IT’S FOUR AM! WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU!? SH John couldn’t help the twisted grin as he tried to picture Sherlock freaking out, shouting at the phone. Not that he would, but in John’s drunken mind, he did.  So....you can’t sleep then?  He hit send, but then got a brilliant idea! Is it because of the blanket?  That did it. John exploded in drunken laughter, the cabby just shaking his head as he drove the drunken doctor home.

  Vulcan is just about an hour south of Calgary  The town was named in 1915 after the roman god of fire, and the original streets were named after various roman deities. Somewhere along the way, somebody in the community made the Star Trek connection, and the local tourism board ran with it, in a big way. 

  Aside from the Trek themed tourism information building, the street signs are all Trek themed, the county admin building has trek themed signage, there is a Trek museum, and murals depicting Star Trek characters all over town. There is an annual Star Trek convention called Spock Days.

I want to write an alternative version of Romeo and Juliet where instead of being a little ponce and trying to work things out for himself, Romeo asks his smarter friends what to do about the whole thing and Benvolio and Mercutio come up with the world’s greatest plan:

Marriage of convenience between Juliet and Mercutio.

Think about it.

Juliet’s parents want her to marry into the Prince’s family. Mercutio is a good compromise between no marriage and Paris.

Mercutio probably won’t get his inheritance if he keeps being HELLA FUCKING GAY ALL OVER THE PLACE so a beard is only a benefit to him.

They would probably get along great rolling their eyes at how adorably stupid Romeo is.

Romeo and Benvolio could get a “bachelor pad” right next to Juliet and Mercutio’s house. Every night, Romeo and Mercutio high five as they hop the fence to go bang their one true love.

The second half of the play is just all of them trying to keep up the charade and being “THIS CLOSE” to getting caught all the time. But everything ends nicely because true love conquers all.

Everybody wins. Nobody dies.

So I wrote this up. I was wondering if anyone wanted to rp it?

((I’m sorry if this got a little long. I”m looking for a story based rp, paragraph style. It does NOT have to be THIS long but it does have to be descriptive and have a bit of substance to it. I would be more than happy to rp with your OC so long as we get to earth first. ))

History:

There is a sister-planet to the Gem Homeworld. But instead of females, all of the inhabitants are male. They kept to themselves until the Gems started to attack Stone outposts. Hemitite went to defend one of said outposts when the Gems attacked the Stone homeworld. By the time he was able to return, his mate, Sandstone, had disappeared and their “pebbles” (children) destroyed by a large Gem footprint. Assuming Sandstone was dead as well, and not wanting his peace loving mate’s life to have been in vain, Hemitite and other Stones went to the great Stone Council to beg that they make pace with the Gems. But too many stones had been killed or cracked, and the council wanted revenge.

Hemitite became part of the Stone Resistance, and struck out to find similar minded Gems. He met and befriended Rose, becoming her insider in the Stone ranks. None of the other Gems knew of her connection to the stones. and there is great dislike and distrust between Gems and Stones.

Hemitite knelt waiting for Rose. He’d gotten a message from the Gem to meet her at their meeting place in the battle graveyard. But he’d been waiting sixty odd years for her, and she didn’t seem to be coming.

The crystal transport pad began to hum, and glow, signifying someone was using it to arrive. Hemitite pushed himself to his feet, body shimmering in the soft glow of the sun. He was a tall stone, strong, dark black in colour. His hair hung down his back in a tight pony tail, resting atop the sword that stayed magnetized to his back. He expected to see Rose Quartz, not three other Gems and a child. Confused he stayed crouched low, observing them as they moved through the paths among the weapons.
