Had all kinds of drawing plans and got entirely derailed. On the plus side here's a fun bonus drawing! Didn't initially plan on posting something so soon after my Polaris drawing... but things happened.

Fun fact, this was originally a cute Rogue and Remy drawing that I ended up doing a recolor/redraw of. Might post the other version eventually, might not. It's funny but I think this version ended up being the more interesting one.

Redraws are kind of an interesting idea in general, so curious to see if there was a Gambit or Rogue+Gambit drawing I've done before that you would be curious to see redrawn with Deathbit (and maybe a updated outfit for Rogue), what drawing(s) would it be? I'm a little curious how much my style has changed from even a year ago.

Fingers crossed for a good Deathbit arc. I really want to see him and Rogue fight it out (and of course have Rogue bring Gambit back).

Also how do we think Rogue burned her arm?? 👀

Working on more Romy and X-men drawings but I keeping coming back to Deathbit. They really nailed that unsettling look and I'm excited to see more of his full design.

List of the Episodes and a Brief Synopsis.

My predictions: Rogue will go intonthe Siege Perilous in Episode 4. The Xmen will presume her dead, and they will find her again in the Savage Land Episode #7. Gambit will show up end of Episode 8, and the team will fight him and/or Apocalypse in #9.

1- “Days of Past Future”: Forge and Bishop launch an ambitious plan to rescue the X-Men, who have been scattered across time.

2- “A Force to be Reckoned With”: After E-Day, a secret paramilitary force emerges to try and fill the void left by the X-Men.

3- “Rise of Apocalypse: Part 1”: The plan to rescue the team from Ancient Egypt is turned upside down by an unexpected visitor.

4- “Rise of Apocalypse: Part II”: An alliance between the X-Men and En Sabah Nur begins to crumble as Rama-Tut seeks ultimate power.

5- “Weapon X, Lies, and DVDs”: Wolverine, Morph, and an unlikely group of former rivals face Weapon X’s newest experiment.

6- “Danger.Exe”: Former X-Man Polaris returns to Xavier’s mansion just as a new threat emerges on the campus.

7- “Strange Land, Savage Heart”: The X-Men travel to the Savage Land and are surprised to encounter a familiar face.

8- “The Dead Man’s Hand”: The X-Men confront a ghost from their past.

9- “Survival of the Fittest”: The X-Men are pushed to the limit when their past comes back to haunt them.

Anyone else slightly disappointed that Deathbit doesnt look at least a LITTLE more different from regular Gambit?

Based off that S2E6 sneak peek, it looks like they just did a basic recolor, which just feels lazy to me. 🤷‍♀️

Although, I guess if it meant the difference between getting Season 2 in two years vs three, I'll take lazy.

i know they all high fived when they thought of, storyboarded and animated this.

Death, ending and transformation as we see that the cards have changed from his playing cards to tarot. Death also HOLDING Gambit’s card and also his literal new moniker for this period.

The Tower, upheaval and chaos. The height of the xmen’s problems

The Lovers, love, harmony and alignment. It literally being Gambit and Rogue. But also resembling Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden with the Snake coiling them….choices and temptation. The skeleton they’re standing on? Remy now being touched by death, Genosha, their pasts and their issues beneath them.

There’s so much details in the cards, I’m so obsessed.

I've been wanting to branch out and draw more of Rogue and Gambit's outfits.

Kind of obsessed with Gambit's profile here (Rogue's too tbh). Also really love the sketch/lineart (I cleaned it up some but wanted to retain the character of the sketch) so I included that below the cut.

Been experimenting with more lines/angles in my sketches instead of curves and I'm really loving it.
