What aspects of you, do you keep hidden from close friends but expose to loved ones?
Hmm. Well I consider my close friends my loved ones. It’s hard to say without the question being more specific because I suppose that there are different aspects of myself that I expose to different people depending on who they are and how comfortable I am around them. But there isn’t very much that I hide from those that I get close to, or else you can only get so close without hitting that barrier at some point. Hiding things makes ya feel sick.
have you ever been in love?
Yeah one time. It was a beautiful, stunning, and powerful feeling, but had an equal and opposite reaction eventually. Grandiose analogy, but It’s like having superpowers like the Dark Phoenix that are too powerful to handle and you accidentally hurt people and yourself. Naive, unpracticed and lack of self control.
It’s such a rare and unlikely thing when you get to have it you savor every tiny moment of it and allow it to control you and it turns you into a person that if you were sober, you’d loath completely. Because it is so rare, the opportunity for practice is sparse. That’s why so many of us are so goddamned bad at it.
