What did you think of Dark Signer Kalin?

He really said "Satellite's shooting star?? More like Satellite's falling star!" And then drive off laughing at his own dumb joke like he really told™ Yusei off with that one. Hearing him scream "CCAPAC APU!!!!" And then slam Yusei into the dirt was both surreal and a highlight.

as I’m sure you are aware by now, I love Carly and all that she does, and I love how she’s handled in her introduction the most

It would’ve been easy to let her be a ditzy girl who tries too hard, but there’s more to it

She knows the world’s a cruel place, and she’s experienced first hand what it’s like to fail so many times while having people breathing down your neck expecting it. It makes her happy to watch others succeed because it then they’ll get the recognition for their hard work that they deserve. It’s the biggest reason I can think of as to why she warmed up to Jack once she saw beneath the dumb drama king, he’s desperately trying to ward off the same insecurities she faces

And she’s smart, to top it all off! Yes she can be goofy and silly, but when the moment calls for it she knows where to go and what questions to ask to find the heart of a situation. Maybe the people around her aren’t able to see it, but that doesn’t necessarily make her wrong and she’s good at doing her research where it counts!

On top of that, she’s pretty darn good at playing people if need be, something you wouldn’t except from such a sweet person
