Next morning, she will wake up in her pajamas, glasses on the side table and phone currently charging. She knows you were the one taking care of her after she had passed out.

She love how you’re always planning ahead. It’s raining out, you packed an umbrella for her. Going on night walks? You got her a bright neon hoodie waiting for her. It’s snowing out? You’re de-icing and warming up the car for her commute.
You 2 are at the coffee shop, you’re ordering her favorite drink down to how many espresso shots she wants and that she always add oat milk in her coffee. When it comes to pastries she likes it extra hot so you’re asking the worker to warm it up a bit longer.
Grace will randomly surprise you with your favorite artist newest album or a movie that you absolutely love. She always hears you talking about how physical media is dying (total true) and we have to put a stop to that. So this is her small way of contributing to something special to you.
If she can’t sleep, she’s rolling over to you in your arms. Even if you are half asleep, you’re rubbing small circles on her back trying to soothe her back to sleep.
You’re always opening the car door for her. Getting in or getting out, somehow you are miraculously right there. Grace legitimately doesn’t remember the last time she open her own car door.
On your occasional date night with Grace, you might splurge at some fancy romantic restaurant. And if she comments that your meal looks better than hers, you’re switching your meal with hers no question ask.
One of Grace’s favorite breakfast place closed down. She’s bummed she won’t get her favorite breakfast sandwich anymore. So you search high and low for another place that makes a close enough sandwich. Eventually you find a place that checks all off the list of her so called perfect breakfast sandwich. It’s an hour drive from your place, but it’s far worth seeing the look on Grace’s face when she takes a bite into the sandwich
You 2 are out and about walking around the city, you notice her shoelace is coming undone. Without a word, you are getting one knee retying her laces in a tight double knot.

After you and Grace finally found out what was happening to you and were now a part time werewolf, you knew there was going to be a lot of learning curve. Thankfully, you had a girlfriend who was prepared for the job of wolf taming you when needed.
For one, you found yourself overheating all the time. And when you were hot, you were wearing less clothes and even in the winter. Grace has seen you completely naked a hundred times, and she was still blushing and covering her eyes when she walked in the kitchen and saw you in the nude making lunch like it was no big deal.
When you 2 are lounging on the couch, you’re resting your head in her lap and she’s giving you scrunches behind the ear, you can’t help but jerk your leg out of no where because the scratches feel so good.
If you didn’t get enough to sleep or you ran out of your favorite energy drink and have to go get more, you’re huffing and puffing more than usual. She now calls you “puppy” when you are being extra grumpy.
You’re definitely much more possessive of her…not in psychotic way of “I’ll tear your head off if you look at my girl” kind of way. But, more of you’re definitely more touchy and someone always inches closer to her face in public possession, just so you can show the world she’s yours.
You found yourself with unnatural strength, lifting up things that were typically heavy to you, but now felt like a strand hay. One day you were looking for your keys and instead of getting on the ground and looking underneath the couch. With Grace sitting on the couch, you lifted up the couch with her still on it with ease. Yes this startled Grace, but why did she find it incredibly hot how you just lifted everything so effortlessly?
Grace was finding out you were growing hair fast but you were shedding much faster. As gross as it is she was finding your hair everywhere. At one point, she was trimming you every week but it really didn’t stop the constant growth and shedding. Logically she may have mention just shaving everything, but even your love for Grace couldn’t have you go through with that plan.
Your senses have heightened, anytime Grace was cooking, your nose instantly picked up something was about to burn. Honestly, to Grace this was the only positive of you being a werewolf. You have saved countless off kitchenware from being burnt to a crisp.
Have you 2 just randomly slow dance in the living room in the middle night for no particular reason only because you were having such intense feelings for your girlfriend? Oh yeah. Did you joke you 2 were having a Beauty and the Beast Moment? Yes, while Grace was pinching you on the cheek calling you ridiculous.
The love spark between you 2 never went away after your first transformation. You would kiss her more and she would kiss you harder. Knowing what kind of abilities you had, you were incredibly more gentle with her physically. Unfortunately it wasn’t because of choice, it was because you had to in fear you might hurt her again.
If you are in separate rooms, Grace will notice if you have been unusually quiet in the other room. She might be overthinking that you had transform and left without her realizing it. All these unwanted thoughts ran through her mind, she couldn’t lose you again. But thank goodness, she has never been so relieved to find you on the couch napping away.
When it comes to your abilities of becoming a werewolf, you don’t always need a full moon. Extreme emotions is what triggers you, especially when it’s a high stress situations or being agitated.
And of course if you’re showing any signs of these emotions, Grace wants to comfort you the best she can. She might have you do some short breathing techniques (like the ones her mom would do for her) or just hugging you tightly telling you everything will be okay. She always knew how to talk you down from the edge of insanity. Her physical touch and the scent of her tends to soothe your attempts to transform.
But sometimes this just wasn’t enough, you want to keep her safe and as far as away from you as possible. There have been countless sleepless nights and a lot of tears from you 2 on what to do. Grace makes it crystal clear she isn’t going anywhere and she was never going to give up on you, monster or human.
The worst fight you 2 have ever had was when she discovered a duffle bag of some of your clothes and your passport stuffed away in the back of the closet. She connected everything immediately, you were going to skip town without her knowing. She was devastated that you felt so alone, you were just going to leave her.
Grace doesn’t yell or scream when she is upset, but this was much more different. And she let you have it, she told you everything that was on her mind finally and called you out on your bullshit. She knew you, you weren’t a quitter. And there was no way she was going to let you quit on yourself or this relationship. Obviously this talked put in quite a few senses to you.
And even though you may be able to control your mood a little better, full moons happen and that is one thing you can’t control. You are 100% going to transform those nights. So you and Grace make the best of it…deep in the woods there is an abandoned underground cellar (thanks to old man Leon on his splendid help) where it has become your barrier to the normal world.
On the day of full moons, Grace is on Def Con anxiety level, she can’t really focus on work those days. She’s definitely more jumpy and just constantly checks up on you throughout the day. She loves you with all her heart, but on those days it does take a toll on herself.
Days leading up to any full moons, this is probably the most when you and Grace will fight. Ideally you 2 mean the world to each other. Grace has made it be known she would not abandon you to “go deal this problem.” But you also feel immense amount of guilt because you know how worried she gets. She wants to protect you, but she also wants to protect the general public. Grace will also put that pressure of responsibility on herself even when you tell her she doesn’t have to.
Once dusk is settling in for the night, you’re in the bunker chained up and you have dosed yourself severely hoping it will slow you down for the next 12 hours (when you transform into a werewolf, it doesn’t really do much in that form, but anything helps.) Grace helps you with the chains and the drugging…you always tell her she doesn’t have to, but she’s always afraid you’re going to end up overdosing. When she’s setting up for you this is when she is at her most fragile.
You’re barely coherent because of the drugs, so the hardest part for Grace every single time is when she has to leave you chained up in the bunker all by yourself. But she always gives you a heartfelt goodbye even if you don’t remember it sometimes. And by the time she gets home she’s in tears, she knows if she cries in front of you, you’ll only feel more regretful getting her involved. She wants to be strong for you, for the 2 of you.
But no matter how upset she is, she has to make sure you’re okay through out the night. She’s staying up the whole time watching you through the cameras you had set up. Thankfully with all the trial and errors you had been conducting the past months, the amount of chains and restraints were strong enough to contain you in the bunker.
Every morning after, Grace is right there getting you back home. Other than being a complete animal, the hardest part is always the morning after a transformation. Every single bone breaks when you transform and even though you heal faster than the average human, it still feels like hell after changing back to yourself.
Grace shows why she’s the ultimate guardian no matter how nervous she is, she’s swooping you in and getting you fully clothed again. Once you’re back home, she’s running a bath for you to wash away all the blood and dirt off of you. And after that you’re sleeping for the rest of the day trying to recover your body.
Grace is checking on you every hour on the hour. And even though you’re asleep, she doesn’t want you to be alone, she’s spending the day in bed with you whether it’s reading a book or doing some light work on her laptop. She doesn’t want you waking up by yourself and just wants to be near you.
And every time you awake from your post werewolf sleep, Grace is always right there. Her expression goes from mundane to pure relief when she sees you awake. You’re usually a bit groggy, but you are so happy to see her. Seeing Grace always puts you in better spirits even after having all your bones snapped into a million pieces.
She just wants to touch you. Feel the warm human body right off of you. Grace is holding onto you making sure to be extra careful not to hurt you (she’s learn this lesson before from literally jumping on you when you woke up after your first transformation.)
Grace is also reassuring your transformation went as smooth as it could go, almost like a brief run down…it’s the analyst in her. You wouldn’t know where you would be without her. You 2 went through a traumatic experience together. You thank how lucky you are to have someone so strong and compassionate to be by your side. You officially accepted you were something else now, but Grace was still in love with you. And beast or not, this was never going to change.

During the annual work Christmas party, you 2 ended up at the same table. Grace’s nerves got the best of her as she accidentally spilt a drink on you. She’s mortified, but you found it funny, this is the most animated you have ever seen her. It was pretty damn cute.
Grace is taking you somewhere more private so she can help dry you off. Her hands are shaking from the adrenaline from what all just transpired. Instinctively, you held her hands to ground her. Grace’s brain is doing somersaults, why do you look more good looking up close?
To this very day you swear you made the first move. But, Grace is very adamant that she was the one that leaned in first. Regardless, you’re sticky with wine finding yourself locking lips with your co-worker. Your very attractive co-worker.
The next few weeks are a learning curve. Grace wanted things to remain normal at work. Very minimum contact with each other during the work hours. She was paranoid she was going to be caught by her other co-workers. And worst she started overthinking on what would happen if you 2 were caught by somebody.
You joked once asking if she was embarrassed of you because she didn’t want anyone to see you 2 together (you already knew she wanted to be discreet you just wanted to riled her up for a bit.) This set Grace into a frenzy, what was there to be embarrassed about? She thought you were absolutely gorgeous, but she also knew it wasn’t the most professional to be seen canoodling with a co-worker.
But once you 2 were off the clock, you were either meeting at her place or she was meeting at yours. Privacy is key when it came to Grace. And she was taking all the precautions. And to her this felt like a very naughty secret to have in all the best ways.
It was all physical at first, just using each other’s bodies to blow off steam. Then slowly you and Grace started to vent about work. Even though you 2 do completely different kinds of work, you both understand the stress of working for the FBI. It’s just nice to get something off your chest without feeling judge.

She just didn’t want to risk this fling going any deeper.) And Grace had only asked you to stay over only a few times.
During the weekdays, if it’s past 10PM, you can’t contact her. Our girl is a professional, she’s got to prep for the next work day. However, if it’s the weekend, any contact before midnight is fine to Grace.
Also, a big one, if either of you 2 are no longer wanting to continue this casual fling, either of you can just cut it off without any explanation. In Grace’s mind the less she knows the better she will feel if things were to end.
Also, if either of you 2 slept with someone else (aka if you sleep with someone else because Grace in no way is going to be juggling multiple partners. She barely has time seeing you lol) you got to at least have the courtesy to say something about it. You don’t have to go into details or tell who the other person is, but it’s just considerate for everybody’s safety. You also keep it a 1 woman show by only seeing Grace (let’s be honest, she’s the only person you want.)
There are times where you 2 have “crossed” the casual relationship line. Grace was telling you about some show she’s been wanting to watch but she’s barely had the time. You suggest the both of you watch the show together since she’s been dying to check it out instead of just hooking up.
You caught the flu and have been bed ridden. So that ment Grace hadn’t seen you in the past few days. One day after work, she showed up at your apartment (breaking her own rule of showing up unexpectedly) bringing a care package of cold flu medicine, vitamin c package and piping hot chicken noodle soup just for you.
Things were good between you in the Public at work. You would leave a scone and a coffee for Grace at her desk if you got there before her. She always knew it was you leaving her these tiny gifts. Not to be out done, Grace would sneakily leave a 100 Grand candy bar at your desk every now and then (they didn’t sell these candy bars at the vending machine, so she would have to go out of her way to some convenience store to get your favorite candy.) And throughout the day you 2 would text dumb memes just to get a small laugh and to make it through the work day.
And the aftermath of your nights together with Grace usually ends with her panicking seeing all the hickies she has left on your neck. You joke every time that you are just going to leave them alone and just come to work with your neck looking like a war zone of kisses. Grace never finds this funny, but you can’t help it. Serious Grace is very sexy to you.
Everything comes ahead when you drunk text her one night asking her out on a date. Obviously, you didn’t get an answer that night. You’re feeling humiliated. And Grace is losing her damn mind, because now she knows feelings have been officially caught. She secretly wants the date too but she’s too scared of what ifs…what if it doesn’t work out between you 2?
So Grace needs a distraction from you. She ends up throwing herself in her work. She’s working on more reports and isn’t stopping there. She working later and even avoiding you at work. You weren’t mad at her for this, you figured something like this would happen after you had drunkenly asked her out. You could have said it was a stupid accident and you weren’t thinking with the right mindset. But in reality, you really did want to ask her out, you just used alcohol as your courage.
Since Grace never answered your question, you just chalked it up as she didn’t have romantic feelings for you. Knowing things weren’t going to go back to normal now, you showed up to her place unannounced. It wasn’t to confess anything. You had felt like this fling was at its expiration date and you were there to break things off with Grace in person.
Grace is speechless that she’s actually hearing these words come out of your mouth. In all honesty, if someone was going to end this situationship, she figured it was always going to be her. She felt like she got punch right in the gut and shaking on the inside but on the outside she was trying to keep it together like this was a nonchalant business transaction.
Although she enjoyed being physical with you. She wasn’t going to deny it to herself but she also liked just being with you in general. She just liked how easy going you were and how you always made her felt seen. At work because she kept to herself often, she always felt isolated from everyone else. But somehow you were able to burst through her secluded bubble.
She felt like she lost her chance with you and she didn’t want you to be dragged along if you no longer wanted this. Ultimately, she agreed as well it was better to end this before it got too complicated. And just like that, it was over between you 2.
It was hard for Grace. And the thing is you made it harder for her. You weren’t ignoring her at work like she thought you would. You weren’t angry with her either. Sure, you weren’t chatting away with her, but when you saw her you always said your hellos. And it only got harder when she saw other people laughing or smiling with you. That use to be you and her.
At work she could escape her thoughts of you though. But when it was time to go home, she hated it. All she could do is think of you. Wondering what you were doing or if you were with someone else. Did you miss her? Because she had missed you terribly.
So pulling out of the page of any classic romance, she race to your place in the pouring rain (why not make this more dramatic lol?) And when you answered the door, here she was, Grace was drenched. But she was a woman on a mission, confessing everything to you. Telling you her fears of you 2 not working out if she was to date you. How much she missed you. How she didn’t want to see you with anyone else. How she really did want to go on an actual date with you.
You didn’t say anything at first, just a bigger and stupid smile growing on your face from each confession she was spilling to you. So you had made your decision, pulling her in, soaked rain Grace was in your arms as you place the biggest kiss on her lips. This wasn’t a situation anymore, it was the real thing.
Spoiler Note: lowkey I was going to give this a much sadder ending where they break things off and eventually get new partners. But they were going to be secretly pining for each other from afar and accepting it would have never been the right time for the 2 of you.
