me, after trying to fix too excited hatching

on occasion i have been tempted to watch some analysis videos on the invisible man and its adaptations but whenever i look in the comments of ones i think look good its just no one getting him like i do

#so many ppl just want to focus on how awful he is n how he does awful things and its sooo... yaaawn #ik hes an asshole man but what about his prey-animal ness. what abt the fact he's literally Just a man #'they had to add that the invisible serum/monocane was driving him crazy to the movie or otherwise he wouldnt be sympathetic' skill issue #i already did cus of his isolation n self destructive tendencies and his paranoia that everyone is out to get him no matter what #is he a saint?? nooo we all know that clearly but thats rlly not all you can pull from the story

my fav thing abt the 1933 invisible man movie is the fact kemp and griffin actually are actively working/employed together there. i kinda rlly wish there was a flashback sequence wit them before griffin did the experiment that showed off their dynamic more (cus they weren't implied to be inexplicably close before in the book, but i mean here they Had to be around eachother). i cant tell if griffin was supposed to have Actually genuinely believed he and kemp were friends there before he started going off the rails . does feel like he liked him a little sometimes but how much of that was also just him Messing with him lol (or literally just saying things)

#i mean kemp makes his opinions on griffin pretty clear in his interaction with flora but yk #1933 movie kemp is definitely a guy #hes really funny! but also super mean LMAO #anyway the bbc series griffin n kemp dynamic is my fav #i also only realized recently they probably maybe Didnt attend the same university in the movie?? or at least theres a chance they didnt??#idk wit the way griffin talks to him it feels like its implied they still had that history so i choose to believe they did
