Some lore of Darkmoor in Universals Dark Universe. Dr Griffin, aka the invisible man, is laying low in Darkmoor because he heard the manor is occupied now by a descendant of Frankenstein. He is on a mission to take over the manor and its inventions to help him create an army of invisible people. He’s already begun his mission by selling his monocane in the Burning Blade. The bride of Frankenstein has also been laying low in the town of Darkmoor for over 100 years, watching the Manor. She is against Victorias return and continuation of her families work. She is distraught over the desecration of Frankie 1.0s grave and the knowledge that his corpse is on display in the manor. She is also protective of Frankie 2.0 and is trying to teach him to break free of his master. I could see these two partnering up to break into the manor for their separate agendas. They both hate Ygor and would use him as their in. (And the mushroom bit is that the actors who play Ygor call the SNW mushroom headbands a fungus that needs to be surgically removed)
