Is this element on the GW3 tapestry the Heart of the Obscure? could just be a decoration but it looks really similar

Pairing this with the imagery of a wizards hatted character makes me think the Astral Ward are involved somehow with Orr's story in GW3

ALSO my immediate thought was that the thing in the centre looked like a man-made structure, but on second viewing could that be a sort of Pale Tree? The otherworldly roots seem to be growing from underneath it. Could we have early Sylvari after all?

Curious detail: one of the asura looks like the ones seen in GW2 (the blue-haired one in pic. 1), but the rest of 'em appear to have fluffy ears? The asura featured in the reveal trailer also looks... fluffier than usual.

On a more serious note, I've seen some people worrying about it so I just want to say:

Even if the announcement on Friday is Guild Wars 3, Guild Wars 2 is not going anywhere. Anet has just pretty much revived the original Guild Wars and has future plans for it, so that game is not going anywhere and it's even older than GW2. Guild Wars 2 makes money and last I checked is doing good and steady.

I know it can feel stressful and like the future of the game is in peril but I am confident it'll all be fine <3

It's their 3 year ship-anniversary. This is a redraw of a scene I drew but never posted (almost) 3 years ago.

During SotO, Caira is the one dragged to the Astral Ward while Mbk was left behind in Tyria to fight off the Kryptis Invasion for that entire year. When she returns, there were some communication issues they needed to work through, the main focus being her arm's injury and how much she tried to hide it because she didn't want to worry him. By JW, they finally sort it out between them. So they both go back to the flower fields where Mbk first confessed his feelings so many years ago, and they both recite their vows to each other. He confessed technically thrice? First is in the flower field where he tells her how important she is to him (post Caira's stomach injury), but he wasn't commited yet (he'll soon realize his heart's already melted lmao). Second is where he does commit to her. Third is the marriage proposal.

Turns out he's cornier than he thought LMAO
