I reblog things. I also dump things. I don't know why. I guess habits are hard to break. It made sense back when nobody had a tumblr, but now that everyone has one, it seems pointless. Nothing is mine, and was found on imageboards and without sources usually.

On the subject of touch ups, I just remembered I’ve had these waiting to be posted for days now! Would’ve done it sooner but finals kept distracting me! >w>;;

RIGHT SO I noticed a tag comment on the original post of this making a note on background colors and how it should either be darker or lighter (and I assumed it was referring to the yellow??) and looking at it again yeah I can see why a different color would be better!

So yeah I wasn’t sure how much to change the color and I apologize if I ended up making it even worse orz

2nd+3rd are lighter and darker versions, 1st is the original colors but with a different texture as the original texture I used lightened the colors a bit. I don’t think it made much a difference though but I’ll post it too for comparison I guess.

I drew this strip, went to go upload it, and while searching for “strawman”  in the filename to help narrow it down in my directory, discovered I’d already done this strip, but better.  It’s too bad, because I really do like “Fuck this strawman pizza,” but oh well.

So have this anyway while I go start a new strip from scratch, like a dumbass.  I was just kicking the can of a new storyline down the road anyway.  And enjoy the Pizza Girl cameo that almost was.

Imagine if the whole, beautifully paved world looked like this.

These are solar panels that, if placed in the place of roadways and other paving sites (parking lots, parks, etc) can produce more renewable energy than the entire country produces. 

It’s currently in the prototype stage with amazing results. Plus, they can be used in all weather situations that will also make icy roads a thing of the past. Heating elements will melt any ice and snow that sits on top. Another thing, they come with LEDs inside so that you’ll have a better view of the road as you drive. All powered by solar energy. 

I Fucking Love Science posted an article about it and it’s also raising money on indiegogo, which is disgustingly far from the goal. They have some pretty sweet gifts, including bumper stickers, a necklace containing pieces of the prototypes, and an entire working prototype of the plates.

BONUS: The prototypes were made of 10% recycled plastic AND can still handle the heaviest trucks. Imagine what the final product could do.

I urge everyone to at least reblog and spread the message so that hopefully this reaches the goal at May 31st. Projects like this hit me right in the heart because of my passion for renewable energy, which is what I hope to deal with once I’m done with my Engineering degree. I would gladly work on this project if I could, but for now I’m going to settle with donating as much as I can and spreading the word as far as possible.

Part 2 of “Toys that Never Were!” THE BLOO SUPERDUDE! 

Back when we were developing Foster’s toys I was in a meeting with our manufacturer to brainstorm ideas for what would make a great Bloo toy. After some frustrating back and fourth on the difficulty of making toys for comedy cartoons, I suggested that if Bloo was sitting in this meeting he would have no problem coming up with what would make a great toy of him…  

HE WOULD WANT THE MOST EXTREME TOY EVER MADE!!!

So I developed Bloo’s heroic fantasy version of himself: The Bloo Superdude! My thought was that you could make a toy for a comedy by making a comedic toy! I thought it would be funny to turn Bloo into one of the most absurdly stupid (but awesome) action figures ever! Just make him a pumped up warrior/robot/superhero/rock-star with tons of useless (but awesome) gadgets, weapons, and accessories! 

Each Superdude set would come with a basic removable Bloo figure (each with a different expression) and one of the members of the Foster’s gang.

So the Superdude would come with a Mac, his jetpack could come with an Eduardo, additional weapons for his robo-arm could include a Coco, and his chopper came with a bendy Wilt.

That way, if you collected all the sets you would not only have all this Superdude stuff, but you would also have the basic Foster’s gang as well!   

Cartoon Network and I loved this idea so much, that in an attempt to convince our manufacturer to make The Superdude, I made a couple of cartoons with him in it and CN made the amazing prototype pictured here.

Despite our best efforts, it didn’t happen. But at least CN was nice enough to let me have the prototype as proof of how absurdly stupid (but awesome) this toy could have been.
