Tumblr has become a game of just *how* naked is “naked”?
I’m gonna miss reblogging my friends naked :(
Tumblr NSFW Ban: This Time It’s Legit and Not a Glitch or Joke
Okay, so. December 17th is the day the ban officially drops on all things porn here on Tumblr. So that’s…great.
This blog here is SFW, so I don’t expect to get banned. However, I will have to back up - and then delete - my NSFW side blog. If you know that blog, enjoy it until December 16th, when I’ll delete it.
TO BACK UP YOUR ENTIRE BLOG AT ONCE:
Click “Settings”.
Click the blog icon on the right side bar.
Scroll down to “Export”.
Click the “Export [blogname]” button.
It’ll take some time, but when it’s done, it’ll provide you a .ZIP file featuring all of the images and videos on your blog (in full resolution), as well as a .ZIP within that contains every post in HTML format, minus the Tumblr layout. You can only do this with your own blogs, and not blogs by other people.
When I first tried this feature out, I did have trouble exporting it with Windows Explorer, but WinRAR handled it no problem. Something to keep in mind.
WHERE ELSE TO FIND ME
I make myself pretty easy to find. You should be able to just Google my username Wolf Nanaki and find me on various platforms with ease. If you want to find me somewhere specifically, or want to add me as a friend on Steam or Discord, message me.
WELP
Time to really start posting to twitter more and maybe HF
Here is the information I was looking for.
Fosta/Sesta
Literally got sex workers killed.
Most sex workers? Already marginalized! Usually LGBT, disabled, POC or ALL THREE. Which is why the fucking government doesn’t care. I know for FACT sex workers have died since BP and other websites have been shut down.
Any of those ‘trafficking victms’ been saved yet?
I think the fuck not.
I’m tired of the government using actual fucking victims to camouflage the fact that they’re fucking over SWers. Because SWers have been telling you fuckers for…ever DECRIMINALIZE SEX WORK AND VICTIMS CAN AND WILL COME FORWARD WITHOUT FEAR OF INCARCERATION!!!
Would you tell the cops you’re being trafficked if you KNEW that you’d not only be thrown in jail but that you wouldn’t be protected unless you snitched…not even well at that & if you cant offer useful information you’d (probably) serve the max amount of time possible? No. You’d stay with wtf you know because its a form of safe. Its harmful and sad but its better than fucking jail and or being raped by police then used by the government to put ppl in jail you KNOW can hurt you/your family etc. Lets not play these games.
Sex workers protect trafficked women already, if sex work was decriminalized SWers could SAVE them. Not just protect them. SWers are out here dying. And its these bullshit bills fault. Fuck SESTA fuck FOSTA
Tumblr may have banned porn. But you can still follow me and watch as I get fucked by life
Since the only good part of tumblr is about to die you can reach me on fetlife and kik @whoreindenial
Before tumblr shutdown December 17th, anyone wanna admit they have a crush on me
Since the only good part of tumblr is about to die you can reach me on fetlife and kik @whoreindenial
@staff all you busted faced bitches had to do was get rid of the pedophiles and child porn. All you had to do was listen to the fucking users. Get rid of the Nazis and pedophiles who are often times the same fucking thing. But instead you crusty cunt hoes made nipples illegal….. Y'all can choke.
For some of you Tumblr is just a stupid website with stupid posts and a bunch of porn. But I’ve been here for like 8 years. I was on here way before I started porn. This was my diary. This was a social media space where I could be myself, where I could be introverted and yell into the void about my depression and my anxiety and no one would tell me to shut up like on other social media sites.
If I can get an adult version of something kinda like Tumblr up and running, would you guys be interested?
Mostly same features but with extra features like…
No bullying.
No kids.
No one under 18.
Stronger blocking tools.
All the female associated nipples you can handle.
Please let me know and PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD!!!
All genders and orientations would be welcomed.
More like Tumblr and less like Fet.
A better, more positive Tumblr
Since its founding in 2007, Tumblr has always been a place for wide open, creative self-expression at the heart of community and culture. To borrow from our founder David Karp, we’re proud to have inspired a generation of artists, writers, creators, curators, and crusaders to redefine our culture and to help empower individuality.
Over the past several months, and inspired by our storied past, we’ve given serious thought to who we want to be to our community moving forward and have been hard at work laying the foundation for a better Tumblr. We’ve realized that in order to continue to fulfill our promise and place in culture, especially as it evolves, we must change. Some of that change began with fostering more constructive dialogue among our community members. Today, we’re taking another step by no longer allowing adult content, including explicit sexual content and nudity (with some exceptions).
Let’s first be unequivocal about something that should not be confused with today’s policy change: posting anything that is harmful to minors, including child pornography, is abhorrent and has no place in our community. We’ve always had and always will have a zero tolerance policy for this type of content. To this end, we continuously invest in the enforcement of this policy, including industry-standard machine monitoring, a growing team of human moderators, and user tools that make it easy to report abuse. We also closely partner with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and the Internet Watch Foundation, two invaluable organizations at the forefront of protecting our children from abuse, and through these partnerships we report violations of this policy to law enforcement authorities. We can never prevent all bad actors from attempting to abuse our platform, but we make it our highest priority to keep the community as safe as possible.
So what is changing?
Posts that contain adult content will no longer be allowed on Tumblr, and we’ve updated our Community Guidelines to reflect this policy change. We recognize Tumblr is also a place to speak freely about topics like art, sex positivity, your relationships, your sexuality, and your personal journey. We want to make sure that we continue to foster this type of diversity of expression in the community, so our new policy strives to strike a balance.
Why are we doing this?
It is our continued, humble aspiration that Tumblr be a safe place for creative expression, self-discovery, and a deep sense of community. As Tumblr continues to grow and evolve, and our understanding of our impact on our world becomes clearer, we have a responsibility to consider that impact across different age groups, demographics, cultures, and mindsets. We spent considerable time weighing the pros and cons of expression in the community that includes adult content. In doing so, it became clear that without this content we have the opportunity to create a place where more people feel comfortable expressing themselves.
Bottom line: There are no shortage of sites on the internet that feature adult content. We will leave it to them and focus our efforts on creating the most welcoming environment possible for our community.
So what’s next?
Starting December 17, 2018, we will begin enforcing this new policy. Community members with content that is no longer permitted on Tumblr will get a heads up from us in advance and steps they can take to appeal or preserve their content outside the community if they so choose. All changes won’t happen overnight as something of this complexity takes time.
Another thing, filtering this type of content versus say, a political protest with nudity or the statue of David, is not simple at scale. We’re relying on automated tools to identify adult content and humans to help train and keep our systems in check. We know there will be mistakes, but we’ve done our best to create and enforce a policy that acknowledges the breadth of expression we see in the community.
Most importantly, we’re going to be as transparent as possible with you about the decisions we’re making and resources available to you, including more detailed information, product enhancements, and more content moderators to interface directly with the community and content.
Like you, we love Tumblr and what it’s come to mean for millions of people around the world. Our actions are out of love and hope for our community. We won’t always get this right, especially in the beginning, but we are determined to make your experience a positive one.
Jeff D’Onofrio CEO
Constructive Critisim: You’ve failed. Not only yourselves @staff but the whole community of tumblr. You say “freedom of expression” and yet take away that freedom from fanartists, positivity blogs, and others all in the name of making it a “safe place” for those who’re underage. You have done the complete opposite, you aren’t making it safer, you’ve made a war zone by your own hand on your own doorstep. Sadly, I will probably delete my blog, there’s no point to be in a place where “freedom” has chains.
I would have maybe gotten it if you had did an all round sweep of every tag there was. However only nuking one and completely ignoring the others (aggressive hate groups hiding behind “freedom of expression”) is not equitable in any way.
Unless you do something - You will not see me after December.
Tumblr should not ban fanart or even pictures simply because there are 2 women kissing! That’s what’s appening in my tumblr
Everyone, if you are a creator go to this website and sign up for their email course on how to grow & keep your fanbase and monetize your content. Currently lots of traffic so the website is a bit slow to load. Seriously, do it.
#SIGNAL BOOST!!!
Porn blogs still posting porn until December 17th is the equivalent of the band playing while the Titanic was sinking.
Perverts, it has been a privilege posting porn with you.
