I had fun making a horse dog photo edit yesterday and thought I’d try some more so I made this bearcat and bearded turtle

it didn’t occur to me the turtle was edited

So I realized that in Season 2 Episode 6 (Futamono), Hannibal sleeps with Alana. When he wakes up, he snaps next to her ear to be sure she’s OUT and then retrieves her wine glass and wipes the rim clean before placing it back. 

I wondered, why did he do this?? Was he trying to erase evidence of her having drank it? That would make no sense because he left the glass there. He would have just disposed of it. And why would he have to hide her having been there… especially when she’s still RIGHT THERE? 

And then I realized…

HE DRUGGED HER SO THAT SHE WOULDN’T WAKE UP WHILE HE KILLED THE SECURITY GUARD AND FREED GIDEON. HE DRUGGED HER SO SHE WOULDN’T WAKE UP AND KNOW HE LEFT.

 SO SHE’D BE HIS ALIBI WHEN JACK CAME AROUND.

Hannibal, Hannibal, Hannibal. What’s with this guy and drugging unaware people?

And Hannibal didn't drug the drink, he put the drug on the glass' rim. He was just getting rid of the evidence.
