#one of my favorite things about them is how their relationship has grown #it was obviously rocky at first with sam being the very thing castiel had been trained to kill #but cas even /associating/ with him was a big thing #uriel would hardly even look at him and cas shook his hand #and cas became his friend #cas respected him #whereas sam was in awe of cas from the second they met #but he grew from feeling reverence to /caring/ for him #at first he was something sam idolized #now he’s someone sam cares for #someone that was able to save /him/ #wow i need a moment
