Why Vote Labour In The General election 2017?

This tumblr is here to help give the facts about what the labour party stands for in the run up to the general election 2017 and help people decide if the Labour party is the right party for them.

An underfunded NHS where nurses and doctors feel that they are treated so badly that the need to go on strike, is not acceptable. These are some of the reasons along with extremely high tuition fees as to why we now see less and less people studying not only nursing but other subjects as well. If you care about healthcare and think it should be available to all then vote Labour and help save the NHS for the hard working families of Britain and to prevent it being sold off and privatised by the Tories who seek to try and gain from the privatisation of the NHS

This is one of the things i saw on Facebook that made me decide to create this page. 

As you can see it is asking who do the people on Facebook think would deliver a better Brexit from the EU. Whilst this is a valid question and one that should be discussed, the numbers on their “vote” simply don’t add up. The image they have on their live video says there has been 4976 votes in total between the May and Corbyn and May and the Conservatives have a slight lead, however if you look at the figures underneath provided by Facebook then there has clearly only been around 3500 votes which is almost half of what the video is saying is the case. More interestingly though is what you see when you open up the Facebook “like” section and see the true votes by the real number of people, it clearly shows that more people have voted for Corbyn and the Labour Party and they have a lead of around 600 votes.

Whilst this is just one small poll on Facebook, it is things like this that can sometimes influence undecided voters and lead them to believe that one party is better than another and is something we should all keep an eye out for so that people don’t get mislead.

Welcome to the page, I have set this page up to help distribute the facts and the reasons why someone would vote for the Labour Party in the 2017 General Election. I was prompted to start this page after seeing a few things on Facebook that seemed to be misleading the general public on not only what the Labour Part stands for but also misleading on the general public on what other members of the general public felt about the Labour Party and Jeremy Corbyn.
