We don't want you guys to be upset at her or attack her or anything like that; we would just like to inform everyone that you can see an updated list on our tumblr and website!
A member of WIAB discovered something which seemed very exciting at first thought: A duet version of Dark Blue Tennessee on iTunes! Then we found out it was just some random guy singing over Taylor and it sounds less than pleasant. The person posted the song without any legal permissions given, so we quickly reported it and sent it to Scott Borchetta, whose assistant said "we thank you and will address asap!" The song has since been taken off of iTunes.
Welcome Distraction HQ Leaked; That's When Still Out of Circulation
Welcome Distraction (HQ) has leaked. Many of you may have a version that says Welcome Distraction came off of a demo CD, but this cannot be confirmed. The version that was originally leaked and that people at DBT received was not off of a demo CD. That's When is still out of circulation, although a better 128kbps version of it is circulating rather than the previous 64kbps version. If these need to be checked you may email our song checker as always or Mitchell ([email protected]) who also has the songs.
As stated many times before, anybody claiming to have Nashville should not be believed or trusted. Nashville is one of the rarest unreleased songs and people with it are under contract not to share it. I know the same was said for the other Sony songs, but not as many people have Nashville. â¨The clip going around has the lyrics âthere was a boy back in Nashville didnât know I existed so I grabbed my guitar and wrote a song about himâ And, as Maria pointed out, it is from the Rascal Flattsâs tour.
Welcome Distraction and That's When Have Started to Circulate
According to a recent WIAB forum poll, four of our members have Welcome Distraction and two have That's When. At the moment, this seems nominal, however, we believe the songs will start to spread even farther soon. Additionally, our poll does not account for those outside of WIAB, and we predict a higher number of people outside of WIAB which have the songs. It should be known that there are multiple versions of Welcome Distraction and that a HQ version is available to general traders.

A former member of both Taylor Connect and Taylor Swift Safe Song Trading bought the domain darkbluetennessee.com If you go to the website, there is simply text saying "coming soon." We would like everybody to know that the official DBT is not coming back. DBT's former owner asked us a few months ago to clear up any speculation.
There is a common remix called "Cry Sorry" that is commonly mistaken for a rare demo. At WIAB, we do not trade remixes, because to us we feel it leads to leaks and scamming. This song, which has seemed so impossible to find that we thought it was fake, is simply a remix of "You're Not Sorry" with "Cry Me A River." Have a listen below!
Some of you may be unaware, but there have been a few uncirculating "demos" going around which are actually fan-made fakes. Unlike many times where fans have remixed songs, this person is making their own version of Taylor's demos which are completely fake and do not even sound like the actual demos. Unregistered songs exist, but they are not in the trading world. Anyone in the trading world who claims to have an unregistered song is simply lying and try to deceive fans. They exist on Taylor's iPod, on Nathan Chapman's computer, in the hands of Abigail, but they do not exist in the possession of people on the internet claiming to have them. The rumor that Taylor's computer was hacked is confirmed to be false by multiple sources that we have contacted. Don't be fooled by scammers. We urge everyone to ignore those people, because they are simply begging for attention.Â

Recently, a trading website posted a list of songs that a college student made called reditaylors. Many members of the trading world are going crazy trying to find them, but we at WIAB see them as a way to scam people out of rare songs. From what we've heard, most of the reditaylors are just basic edits of songs we already have. Nothing fancy. We advise everybody to not trade these songs for anything rare, because they are not worth it. As soon as WIAB can get some of them together we'll post them for everyone to hear.Â
Song Update: "Under My Head," "Ten Dollars and a Six Pack (studio acoustic)," and "Crazier (ALT)" in HQ enter circulation
Over the past week the three Taylor demos "Under My Head," "Ten Dollars and a Six Pack (studio acoustic)," and "Crazier (ALT)" in HQ have started to spread throughout the trading world. After assessing the number of people with these songs, WIAB considers them to be "in circulation" which means it is moving about and generally easy to get. The legality of these songs have been questioned, because they are part of the original SONY songs, but we do not believe any legal action will be taken against anyone who receives the songs and/or trades them.
There are clips of "R-E-V-E-N-G-E" and "Wait For Me" floating around, but they are very short. Please do not be scammed out of a song by somebody who sends you a clip and claims to have the whole thing. We are always happy to check songs for anyone!

We've got a few updates that pertain to rare songs.
First, if any of you remember, the song "Long Time Going" was found registered online. This is the legal title of what many of us have known as "Long Time Coming." The song was written with the Warren brothers.
Also, many people believe that they have Crazier ALT in HQ. I believe it's out there, but many people who believe they have the HQ don't actually have it. The HQ is 192 kbps. This number can be manipulated, however if it is anything lower it's no the HQ. Remember, we can always check for you!
WIAB has received numerous questions in the past about song sharers. Song sharers are people who share Taylor's unreleased music with other fans. Everyone at WIAB is a song sharer, because we do share, but with something in return. We view trading as a way to make sure other people who you're sharing songs with appreciate Taylor and her music. If they're going to the extent of trading, they probably own Taylor merchandise and actually put something into her career. This is what we support. We do not support mass sharers. Sure, we've all probably shared a song with nothing in return, but those were to friends. Mass sharers share with anyone. We find this to be unsafe because people who get songs with way may not realize how important it is to protect Taylor's demos. That being said, we do not hate song sharers. They are fans just like you and I, they simply have different opinions than us and that's okay. WIAB isn't here to boss everyone around, we're here to present you with our beliefs and let you make your own choices.Â
Capn Spaulding is a name some of you may know. He has been known to randomly pop out with his circle of freaks in an attempt to gain more songs. Weâve all seen him as just another annoying fan you donât want to deal with. But, heâs more than a crazy delusional man trying to get songs for his own personal collection. He has actually done some pretty scary things.
Iâll start off by stating his real name, Austin Wright. Austin is the original Taylor Swift leaker. Back in 2009, he leaked Your Face (studio), Teardrops On My Guitar (ALT), and a clip of Someone Loves You. But thatâs not all he has done. He actually stole the name Genuinely Taylor from the TC mod, Kirsten. Kirsten had Genuinely Taylor as a Myspace page name, which was Taylorâs #1 fan site, but Austin decided to buy the domain. He did this so that he could trick people into thinking that she was helping him, thus causing them to respect him and gain his trust. The forum on Genuinely Taylor was for âMisfits, Outcasts, Rejects, and Banned People.â
I know what youâre probably thinking. This is it? You warned me and then created a whole new page for this?
But the story gets even creepier right here.
You see, Austin has a love for Taylor. A deep one. He says that the song âInvisibleâ relates to the situation theyâre in. He even had a signature on a forum that contained the both of them with hearts around it and the lyrics to invisible. This isnât just any celebrity crush, this is scary. He has met Taylor at least 13 times, and most likely more. Sure, they live in the same town, but he tends to âbumpâ into her quite often.
A letter was sent to Taylor and her family describing the situation at hand, and warning them ofAustinâs behavior. The letter is long, so I will summarize the main points.
It starts off with an introduction about Austin. They were âmostly concerned with three areasâ(1) his outward efforts to meet Taylor in abnormal ways, (2) his inner feelings towards Taylor herself, and (3) his unacceptable behavior towards teenage girl fans.â
The letter goes on to explain the fact that they have met at least 13 times, and Austin had framed a picture of all of the times they had met and framed it, as a gift for Taylor. âWe feel this behavior,â they say, âis typical of a stalker.â
The letter continues, and they tell of one incident that has happened. Itâs best if I post it word for word, so this is what was said in the letter:
âOne evening Austin was listening to a live chat hosted by a radio station. Taylor was on the broadcast, and near the end she told everybody that when she was finished, she was headed to the store to get some ice cream. Upon hearing this, Austin got in his truck and drove down to the store where she was going and found out where her car was parked. It was dark outside and he parked his truck next to her car and waited for her to come outside. And then⌠well allow one of Austinâs former friends finish the story in her own words:
âRemember when Austin said he met Taylor at the grocery store? It was the night he went to the grocery store because Taylor mentioned on the Live Chat that she wanted Ice Cream and was probably going to get some after the chat was over. Well, Taylor HERSELF told him that was creepy. Austin and I were talking at that point, and he actually told me that. He told a few other people that too. He said he was parked next to her car in the parking lot waiting for her to come out and it was really dark cause it was like 9:30 PM or so (whenever that live chat was over), and the parking lot wasnât well lit. Well, Austin told me that Taylor said, in so many words, that it was creepy. But then Andrea was like âOh heâs the guy that gave you the book the other day in Walmartâ. Then Taylor was like âohh okay!â. But bottom line, she was CREEPED out at first. And Iâm sure she still was, she just wanted to be nice.â
In the following part of the letter, they talk about Austinâs love for Taylor, which I have already explained above. Right after that, there is a paragraph explaining his behavior towards young Taylor fans. He called one fan a word which was censored in the version of the letter I received.
The rest of the letter has comments about Austin from fans that have witnessed his horrible ways. See below for the comments.
A follow-up letter was sent to Taylorâs management, regarding Austinâs increasingly bad behavior.
âThank you for writing back. I was actually just about to write to you again because I had a chance to talk briefly with a girl. I donât know whether she was 17 or 18 at the time that Austin asked her for the topless photographs. But I did ask her if she was still friends with Austin, and she told me that Austin had offered to get her meet and greets with Taylor in exchange for the topless photos. In her own words:
âNo Iâm not friends with Aus10 anymore. He promised me meet and greets for my birthday if i sent him topless pictures. Which, of course, I didnât send him!! He is very disgusting.â
I did let the girl know that I had reported this situation, and Iâm sure she would agree to talk to you if you have questions for her. If you need her e-mail address or any further information, feel free to contact me.
And just as a further note, another girl also revealed yesterday that Austin had also asked her for topless photos of her when she was still friends with him. I believe that Taylor and her family know who this girl is, and know that she is a truthful person.
One of the main concerns of quite a few people in the Taylor fan community right now is for a 14 year old girl  who Austin has working as an administrator / moderator on his site at fearlesslytaylor.com. She is a beautiful girl and a number of people have observed Austin flirting with her and telling her âi love youâ and things like that. You can obviously understand why people are concerned for her.
Anyway, thank you again for taking the matter seriously. There are a lot of disturbed fans right now over this whole situation that has come to light.â

âI really dislike Austin. Heâs always been rude to me, and I actually find him a bit creeper like. I mean, he always meets Taylor outside of restaurants and things. Understandable if it happened once or something, but itâs happened a lot. He always knows where she will be at. We are seeing Taylor tomorrow, weâre warning Mama Swift about Austin. He scares us.â
âThere are quite a few people who feel exactly the way you do. Itâs impossible to have that many accidental meetings in a 2 year period. Somethingâs not right. You arenât going to believe this, but if you look on Austinâs Twitter and scroll down far enough⌠he says that he ran into and met Taylor 4 times during March. Sounds a bit suspicious if you ask me.â
âIâm a pretty understanding person and I could see how maybe a few times he ran into her. but when she did the online chat and said âOkay guys Iâm gonna go to the grocery store and get some ice-creamâ and austin shows up with a picture of Taylor and him at the grocery store immediately after, thatâs when I think it finally hit me that he wasnât just randomly bumping into her in town.â
âHEâS NOT ONLY A CREEPER HEâS A STALKER!! like i never ever liked him and i also think heâs full of himself.â

âAustin and I used to get along just fine. I thought he was okay. But after a while he abused his power as an administrator and basically ordered people around and commanded them to do things and give him things. He once asked me for a rare song and I politely informed him that I was not allowed. He called our forum a âcultâ which was very rude, and then proceeded to cuss me out and call me every name possible via Twitter. I also think Taylor should be very concerned about him. His antics of meeting her are frightening. I have a feeling it will eventually turn into âI have to meet her and tell her thisâŚâ and heâll find insane ways to do it. I really hope this brings attention to the matter.â

Stay Away From Capn Spaulding!
As you have read above, Capn Spaulding is a very creepy man. I encourage all fans to stay away from him. If you are at a Taylor Swift concert and you see him, please tell somebody. His intentions could be dangerous. He currently still lives in Nashville, Tennessee. He spends his time trying to get songs that he can leak, so please do not give any to him, or the following people that assist him: Frances Vasquez, Kari Ann Wilson, and Henry Lam.
