Anger is not a bad thing. It can be a power tool to aid your craft. I would recommend always keeping some in supply. However sometimes anger can be overwhelming and needs to be siphoned off and discharged safely.
I’ve purposely kept this spell simple as it’s designed to be cast at short notice.
Something to strike - safely - like a drum (I like my mattress or footstool)
Storm Sounds (optional) - lots of suitable vids on YouTube
Cast a circle or visualise a protective boundary around you - this is to protect yourself and others. I go to my grove which is a safe space i practice my magic, commune with my guides and my retreat from the world.
Play the music if you’ve decided to use it and take a couple of deep breaths.
Tune in to your anger and any other emotions that decide to come along for the ride. Show gratitude to them for they are part of you.
Feel your emotions build and sit with them. Emotions might build quickly and may in some cases feel overwhelming. Only stay at this stage as long as you feel comfortable.
When ready start to pound the drum in front of you. Call the storm. Sense it swirling above you. Merge with it. You birthed this storm.This is your storm. It cannot hurt you.
Let the volume and tempo of your drumming ebb and flow with your emotions. Influence the storm around you. Release your energy into it. Send it up into the clouds, rain and wind. Send lightning bolts up into the sky.
Eventually you’ll start to feel the energy drawing out from you and as you do you will feel the storm begin to pass. It may build again but just go with it. Like all things eventually the storm will pass.
The storm will completely cease when you close your circle.
