and, i do not take showers for the pleasure of cleanliness encasing my body. but for the deafening noise of the water running to musk the sound of me punching violently at the cool tile floor in anger frustration pity and utter disgust till they crack, bleed and bruise. i take showers knowing that with the music so loud and the tv turned on in my living room they cannot hear me cry. they cannot hear me cry. they cannot hear me cry. i do not take showers for the pleasure of singing sweet tunes to radiate off the foggy old and battered mirrors. but so i can be alone and let the water mask my tears.
