I made a cake to celebrate She-ra's 5th season 5th anniversary, the numbers were so pretty 5 years 15th of 5th month of 2025 season 5 so I went for it, it's my first ever attempt at decorating a cake (I've only made simple ones like red velvet) and I'm not fully happy with it, but it was fun making it. The filing is raspberry namelaka, and all the decorations are edible.

So I had this joke idea for like two months, but my time management sucks so I only finished this today, + I couldn't stop until it looked presentable
OUGHHGHGH. catra scarring adora's back in such a way that it resembles the horde insignia. no doubt catra's way of saying you have always belonged with the horde. with me.
Oooooh I hadn't considered this with Adora's back scars. It does fit, with scars of battle being reminders of her past.
... And now I want a really messed up AU where Adora has had the Horde Insigia literally branded onto her back by Shadow Weaver, permanetly reminding her of where she came from, no matter how much she's tried to better herself, a scar that not even She-Ra's magic is able to heal.
For The OP's post, damn I never connected the two, but God, it fits so poetically damn, you can run from the hord, but you can't clean the hord out of you type sht...
but also before reading, I thought for a moment that it kinda implied the opposite: catra scratched off the hords insignia (symbolically if it's not there) from her back in a painful way as in "You run off? You don't want to be a part of the hotd so bad? OK, I'll help you with that, you don't deserve to wear it anyways. " . To show adora the consequences of her defiance
For this post, damn this is a cool idea, I need a fanfic of that now too... I kinda want to draw that, the idea of this branded adora is so brutal its kinda hot?(cursed pun if we're talking about branding..)
But it also reminded me of an old joke I had with my besty, that hord indeed brands their soldiers like cattle, but it's small and located on the buttcheek, and adora was showing hers to glimmer and bow(it was a doodle on my phone, idk if I could ever find it, might as well just redraw it). They asked her if catra had one too, and she giggled that yes, but catra had two of them because she was squirming, like the cat she is, and smothered the first one. Idk if I could call it dark comedy...
ouugh. entrapta on the side of science, running every calculation but still failing to see at the end of her equation is someone's life. she is living in her own world, she was enclosed in her mansion before this and she's enclosed in a horde lab now. nothing changed. being enclosed prevents her from being able to experience and assign value to life outside of her creations. because they say she's only good for manufacturing life, so she'd rather invent one than live one.
princess netossa said their powers are in their names and princess entrapta is the most useful when she's entrapped in her own world and invention. it is also her weakness and she openly wears it in her name and on her sleeve. my heart breaks for her.

Who's your favourite She-Ra character? What's their best awesome and/or emotional scene?
I guess my favorite is Adora, like i stan, like im a kinny, like she's my spirit animal, the one I project on the most (maybe not a healthy amount), like it's the "she's literally me fr fr" meme . And it's funny cause I was driven to check out the show in 2018 by Catra(her design to be more specific) on one of the promo screen caps where she sat near Adora on their secret hord spot. I thought adora looked kinda funny and weird, and I thought I won't like her, because she gave me blond mean girl stereotype vibe and had a weird hairstyle and THE FOREHEAD. Was I in a ride for a surprise that she'd overshadow hotstuff fandomfave Catra for me?
Tldr; came for catra, stayed for adora. I'd say she embodies the holy trinity of "why you like the character ?", which are: "my pure child, poor baby🥺, best girl🥹 " , "it's literally me/ I want to be her😤😮💨" and "daddy 🫣😳🥵(yeah sorry it's cringe maybe but I mean bottom-memes type attraction to the cool character)"
As for best scenes, it's hard to tell, I generally like most of the gags and jokes she's part of, tho they tend to overdo "haha adora is so stupid " humor. I guess my favorite scenes, emotional by definition, are those that focus on her character and identity struggles, the "what do you want?" kind of scenes. I guess if talking sad, I really like her scene with Angela in the 3rd season final, it's one of the few scenes that made me legit cry; her interactions with Mara and the whole ass 5th season with Catra.
If we are talking cool, then I'm a sucker for infected She-ra. One reason being that, I'm not sure why, but I like seeing Adora angry and lashing out. I guess it's a form of her taking agency, like it feels as if she was not allowed to be angry while Catra or sometimes Glimmer were. That's why I absolutely loved the "now live with it" punch in corrupted Catra's face.
Another scene I like, which is very underlooked in the fandom, is when she loses her shit at Mara's ship, when she was on her self exploration journey in crimsonwaste. Idk the way she almost had an anime-phyco moment there with her uncanny laugh... And in general, I really like how diverse her laugh is, Aimee did an amazing job! She nailed all the happy, remorseful, nervous, sarcastic, fake, even low-key evil laughs for her performance. Like that infected shera laugh is still giving me goosebumps uh oh🤌 that's probably what made me like evil adora AUs(like that double-trouble impression when they diss Catra? im sorry? If adora herself was like that, I'd sell myself to her-).
Her voice acting in general, I fell in love with it, it's more subtle than Catras obvious seksappeal, OK except for the "Hay, Catra" THAT WAS PURE SEKSAPPEAL OMG(like my second ever posted in 2019 shera meme was about that LOL) like her delivery is priceless and all the weird souds she makes pftphtph
So, in conclusion, it's a character that quickly grew on me to the point of being my main comfort character out of any fandom (like a parasocial fictional soul mate, idk)
(U know, I kinda want to write an essay someday about adora's laughs and laughs in spop in general now, lol)(and about adora's anger, violent tendencies, and self-expression)
Oh yes, this is my life. That feeling increases if you live in a country where not even lesbians watched it... the weirdest is when you hear from a cishet guy irl that he watched it and liked it. I thought this is like super rare, because you know girly gay sparcle cartoon...

I find it funny seeing the whole "Catradora walked so Caitvi could run" thing because I remember seeing the same thing when She-Ra ended but about Catradora running and something like Steven Universe or The Legend of Korra walking.
How about we say it true? They all ran. It's not a competition against each other, it's a relay together. They ran as hard as they could for when they could and what came after grabbed the baton and kept going.

Legend of Korra, Steven Universe, and She-Ra were notable for how they pushed the limits of representation in children's cartoons. Representation in children's cartoons is kind of a special category because children's cartoons are subject to a degree of censorship that even other forms of children's fiction aren't. Arcane is aimed at adults
Caitvi doesn't even push the limits of representation in children's cartoons. Catradora was a three-season enemies to lovers arc that was also one of the main drivers of the plot. After that, pushing the limits of queer rep in children's cartoons would mean featuring trans people or a polycule
Like I don't mean caitvi is bad or anything. I just don't think it's groundbreaking from a representation perspective

today a chunk of russian rocket destroyed a massive part of my art academy, Boychuck's academy of decorative art and design, Kiyv,
I'm lucky i wasn't there, but the aftermath of this attac is truly devastating for the academy, that portion of the building, it's ruined it's it's just gone... we lost our gym, your Congress hall, our gallery, our assembly hall... and that's not even a complete list
I feel devastated ... i don't even known what to say, only hope that there is no deaths(most people managed to evacuate to the basement shelter)

today is Jan19's - adora's birthday, so i decided to make a small comic to selebrate, came up with the idea in 2021 but made it only now..

i haven't posted for 5 years... but if enybody was wondering, yes, i am physically alive(which is important 'couse i live in Ukrain) i just had a creativity crisis and anxiety after wanting to branchout to twitter and failing and getting discouraged by algorithm and mentall instability(i might have ADHD or/and something else i need to check for). i took a break from social media.
during this time i've finished school, attended my local art uni and graduated, i got my bachelor's diploma in summer 2023, and now getting Masters there, when i started this blog i was 15... im planing on getting back to posting occasionally, but i would probably go more multi-fandom, I'm still hyperfixsated on 2018's she-ra, but i have much less interest in Ava's demon due to lack of it's plot progression, i still like it, it's just harder to come up with new idea's when there is less passion about the source.
also maybe i will star posting original content and art but idk.
i don't want to make any promises because i don't now if I'll disappeare again.
