Hey, no fair! Widow stole his fight and even schooled him on how to handle them and make fun out of it. That’s the price of being a big time superhero. One of the greats has to drop in and mentor you, but it was the girlpower of the team, and he admired Natasha’s work, so he let it slide. For now. “The time is right, but they always travel in packs, it’s just persistence at it’s worst.”

“Packs my….ass!” Using the last guy she knocked onto the ground, she threw him across a group of three, slowing them down before she rushed over to knock them out as well. “You know with those clever skills of yours, I would have caught them in a web. I hear trapping is deadlier than poisoning,” was her additional reply, laughing breathlessly.

“Yeah, sorry, I don’t get that intimate with my enemies,” he chuckled. Of course, poisons, toxins, utilities other than his bio-cable formula (that being what he stole, or copied from, OsCorp) weren’t his thing. When he fought, the closest he got to being “intimate” was hand to hand combat, or, more or less, foot to crotch, and fist to face, combat. Sable even told him his fighting tactics were weak.

“You had to ruin my moment, didn’t you?”

There was a rebellious smirk on her features as she glanced at him. "Mmh? Ruin? I believe that's only in your head--imagination. I simply thought you needed a bit of a helping hand. Since, you know...I am pretty good at hand to hand combat with a bit of a...upper hand due to some technical things." Glancing around she hummed in approval, "You're not that bad though."

“Mmh…eto pravda. Ochen’ pravda.” After their mini-conversation and arriving back to their humble abode, Nat stretched. She forgot how her shirt was a bit on the shorter end, having it stretch up and expose her skin. Turning towards him she spoke up, “Xorosho…so, shall I help put the groceries away with you or am I to scamper off and get ready?”

Once they were back inside, James set down the groceries before pulling Nat into a quick embrace; tickling the exposed skin with his cold hand, pulling back before she could injure him on reflex. “I still doubt your need to ‘work’ to look beautiful; but do whatever it is you’d like to do. Would you rather it be a ‘couple’ thing; or would you be oblige to letting me pamper you this evening?” he teased. Reaching into the bags, he began sorting the groceries; putting the ones he didn’t need away for now.

Nat laughed softly a bit as his fingers touched her skin--a small shiver apart from that. Thinking about it she turned towards him, watching as he organized the groceries, "I think I will let you pamper me. Nobody really has done that for me. So, I think I will take you up on that offer. So, while you do this...I will venture elsewhere and uh, get ready."

OOC: Important

I miss being on here. I miss shying away from awesome roleplayers like Russiasredguardian--pfft. Or roleplaying with others overall.

I'm going to have to take leave for about three weeks. My mom suffered Bell's Palsy last night. She has her meds but it doesn't take away the worry I feel that she's going to be pretty much out of the country this Saturday for two weeks--previous family engagement. Meanwhile, I take care of my nephews for the first week while the following after, my sister has to take the younger one to get surgery for an enlarged kidney problem. On top of that I am currently finishing things I owe for the semester's end before finals.

And I will be doing some serious job hunting. I honestly need a job ASAP. So, overall...I am so sorry for my lack of being on here. I truly do apologize. To those I owe, I'm going to reply today. And I may periodically pop in but know that it will be rare. I miss everyone. :/

OOC: So as much as I'd like to reply to posts...

I have just a bit drafted on both. At the moment, I'm trying to not stress so much on the news and the uproar it's already bringing in regards to the suspect for the Boston attack. I hope all the cities on lock down keep safe and hopefully they catch this criminal suspect quickly. I am also currently preoccupied with school work, so I do apologize about that.

Using Widow’s Bite for a member he missed, while having another gang member in a choke hold before knocking him unconscious she laughed, “Now really my little Spider friend, how can you be so mad when—” Nat grunted. The redhead had to ram her head backwards into another bozo who dared grab her from behind, kicking him hard into the ground. “—When it’s such a fantastic hour to take them down.” Now she was getting annoyed.

Playfully thwacking him for his “had you” commentary she went back to holding his hand, all smiles. “Hey, hey…now you’re just earning your get out of jail free card when you keep up with this flattery. Granted, just with your own handsome qualities, I’d be distracted by you anyway.” Nat sighed dramatically, “What ever am I to do with you?”

“I’m sure you’ll think of something, you’re quite resourceful.” He wasn’t about to test her new found perkiness; but he couldn’t help but smirk. It had been only a few hours, yet here they were…a pair of sappy soviets, strolling down the street; hand in hand. The cold, distant, assassins were nowhere to be found. Everything was…brighter. “Do what I do, make it up as you go along…you think I can afford to get ahead of myself? I just got you back, devushka.”

“You should feel special. They say that when you see something no one else has, it’s good luck.” Still holding onto his hand she smiled at his commentary, “I love being a girl though. I never really get the chance to…for myself at least. And beauty takes time to develop you know…” She started to laugh a bit.

“You’re not a possession, no one can ‘have’ you…though I have had you…” James cleared his throat with a smirk, giving her a playful wink that he knew he’d pay for later. “I always love you, but especially when you’re enjoying yourself. You deserve it, with all you do for everyone else…and while may be true in some cases; you’re fully developed. Doesn’t take you much effort, does it?” he teased.

As they began to walk she hummed in thought, “When is a very good question. If I said to you, that I don’t know when…then it goes to show it has been a very, very long time. I really became a shut-in after…after your supposed death.” There walk was short really but she cherished it as they took it slow. “Heckle you while you prepare? No. I need time to prepare myself, I take a bit remember?” She laughed softly, “So I guess I can’t tease you while I’m preparing myself…” she sighed dramatically in addition. “My dear James…how much fun it is to tease you…” Nat was severely carefree around him always. She didn’t even care if others saw. It was enough to know he was home.

“Hm. It’s pretty hot…a playful side of you not many people get to see; I almost feel special.” The entire walk, he held her hand in his free one; it was a trivial gesture, but still…intimate. Affectionate. After all these years, it was if they feared they’d lose the other would they let go…at least on his part. “I never understood that…you’re already perfect, to me. It’s not like you need to put effort into looking beautiful.” James shook his head; giving her hand a gentle squeeze. The walk went faster this time around, perhaps it was now that they had kissed; of all things. Not as awkward as beating around the bush. “You’re such a girl sometimes…believe me, that isn’t a bad thing…”
