"Geralt...!" Ingvar gasped, staring wide-eyed at the Witcher he'd quite honestly expected never to see again. The White Wolf was to him like a ghost, a spector of his past saviour. If not for him, why, the giant would likely be dead.
But where were his manners?! It was with a wordless gesture he first beckoned him closer, before he said anything about it.
"Sir Witcher, you ā you are returning...! Please, come hither, and be joining of me, and be resting, you and your horse."

It wasn't often that a Witcher came into her woods.
Especially not Geralt of Rivia.
She'd heard of him plenty. His reputation preceded him. She watched him from where she stood in her doorway, one striking blue-green eye not leaving his face. The other was a milky white, partially shut due to the burn that covered half of her face. A cat sat at her feet, tail flicking back and forth languidly.
"You must be in dire need of something if you came so deep into the forest." Her head tilted just so, like a curious animal. "Do you seek Baba Yaga's counsel?"
That was what she always asked those who came to her home. No one came to her house unless they needed advice, or a charm, or a spell.
the witcherās sigh was mournful as he watched ciri conclude the exercises with her sword. she didnāt need to do it, he understood that it was mostly to appease him. and for that, he couldnāt be more grateful. yet the smile on his face was still sad.
āĀ donāt get me wrong, i believe in you. you know that.Ā āĀ geralt hesitated as if trying to choose his words.Ā āĀ i just didnāt think the day would come so soon were iād see you run off as a true witcher.Ā ā
