i kind of really like it when i get to see shortform content but like mostly of birds and mostly what people with no followers are making because like it's more interesting that way. i got to see a little video of a group of peacocks today, i got to see a pheasant, i got to see some awesome chickens, some awesome chickens i say.

if i WERE a princess, like some of the mean women in my life like to suggest, then i would probably spend all my time taking care of birds or at least going across the queendom to witness all the local fauna and ask villagers to show me local beasts

The cutest part of drugging someone with a love potion is watching its worldview slowly reorient around you over the next half hour. There's a kind of cosmic allure to it. Emotions are supposed to follow from experiences, not determine them, but the brain is perfectly capable of accommodating the reverse. How it stares at you as it realizes it needs to be near you, and justifies this action as normal. Then it realizes that's not enough, and justifies the next step as normal, then the next. Usually the subject isn't used to the feeling. It stumbles into it without protection, tries to weigh its desire towards you and finds the scale breaking each time. Tries to hold itself back and realizes it doesn't want to. Apologizes then realizes that by comparison it doesn't really care. Watch it disprove the existence of its own moral compass in real time. Watch in its eyes as it realizes what it's just done, and what it knows it will do again. It's cute.
