This poster was created for DIY LOVE: Queer Knowledge & History Then, Now, and Forever, an installation at the Toronto Pride Streetfair from June 23-25, 2017. The installation was created by Will Carpenter, Natalie Mark, John Wigle, Maya Wilson-Sanchez, Lex B., Kaythi, and Seiji.
DIY LOVE was created to exhibit and celebrate LGBTQ2S+ activism, knowledge, history, experiences, and bodies. The installation, a fun and free public workshop, provided a non-transactional relief from the corporate environment of Pride.
Print ready, high-resolution scans of each poster can be downloaded here for you to print at home!
Saturday at the Pride Street Fair! It was so amazing to meet so many new friends and see familiar faces, especially those who came from far away to share their time and warmth with us. Love to you all.
I realize I haven’t mentioned this here at all but now that it’s done I probably should. I was super fortunate to work with a wonderful group of people on an installation for Pride Toronto’s street fair. This was one of the few totally free booths at Pride this year and I think we’re all really proud of that.
Genuinely loved doing this.

I just wanted to say that Wanda is one of my absolute favorite characters in all of fiction and to thank you for writing her. For me at least, her portrayal is spot on, and she's actually an enormous part of how I discovered I was trans. I reread A Game of You at least once a year. So yeah, I just wanted to thank you for writing Wanda since she's been hugely inspirational to me
You are so welcome.
