“Parties are always exciting, if you do them right.” She smirks, and then nods. “Yeah, I’ve been busy training. And apparently slacking off, according to my captain, but he’s a wanker who doesn’t know how to have a good time when he’s off the pitch.”

“I have to be thorough.” They nod. “It’s terrifying to do too, but I’ve been practicing a lot.” They smile. “You should come– come work out with Hercules and me sometimes. We’re trying to see who can bench press the other first.”
She grins. “I can tell, you made it look almost effortless!” She nods. “Only if you don’t judge me for being pathetically weak. That ... I’m not even going to question that, but if you need a spotter that knows a fair number of healing spells, I’m in.”

Mm, yeah, I know him. Not well, but he seems like a decent sort. That’s great! [ Wilda rolls her eyes ] Of course they do. You can even have fun when he’s around, depending on the girl. [ she smirks ] Absolutely. Two drinks, coming right up.

“I’ve checked. Just– just to be sure there isn’t.” They smile. “Thanks! Taken me about– about three months to perfect, but I think it’s worth it.” They snort laugh and flex their arms. “I can lift two hundred fifteen pounds. Working out is the one– one thing Hercules and I do together.”
“Of course you’ve already checked.” She shakes her head fondly at Anthea. “Definitely, I think it’s amazing. Terrifying to watch from the sidelines, but amazing.” She raises her eyebrows. “Wow. That’s impressive. I’ve always been better at speed than strength, but I’ll definitely have to work on that.”

[ Wilda grins sharply ] You brought a boyfriend? Obviously I have to meet him now, do I know him? We need to get drinks more often, if you’ve managed to snag a boy long enough to call him a boyfriend without me knowing. [ She winces and waves a hand vaguely ] Although, that’s probably my fault, training and all that jazz.

“And left you to fend off the crazy purebloods by yourself, whatever will you do now?” Wilda drawls, sarcasm dripping from her tone with a smirk.

I wanted to be able to help.” She nodded.”I actually used to play in school. I was one of the beaters for Hufflepuff.” Doe grinned and grabbed her hand, she hadn’t been drinking but she was enjoying the others reactions, so when Wilda introduced herself she grabbed her hand gently and pressed a kiss to her knuckles. “Pleasure to meet you, officially.”
She nods. “Understandable. Cursebreaker, though, that sounds way cooler.” She tilts her head, thinking. “Huh. Meadows, yeah that sounds vaguely familiar from the pitch. Sorry, I’m rubbish with names and faces.” She’s sure that she blushes again, but smirks and twists her hand in Dorcas’ and uses it to pull her closer as they dance. “The pleasure is all mine.”

Anthea looks down at the Quaffle currently being carefully held between their ankles. “It’s technically– technically still within the guidelines for legal maneuvers,” they say. “Plus it lets– here, watch.” They tighten their grip on their broom as it zooms them around. It’s definitely not the best position to be flying around in, hanging from their broom like it’s a monkey bar, but they do it with ease. Anthea huffs softly before swinging their legs, kicking the Quaffle up in the air to get it enough height for them to spike it through the nearest hoop. They hook their leg around their broom and settle back into their seat. “Kinda’ like that, except faster.”
“There’s probably nothing in there about catching the Quaffle with your feet, true. I’m not sure I’m dexterous enough to do that.” Wilda watches them hang from the broom with her heart in her throat, ready to cast a slow-fall spell just in case. But Anthea didn’t need it, and she cheered when the Quaffle went through the hoop. “Oh, hell yeah! That was dope!” She flew over to scoop the ball off the ground as it bounced. “I dunno if I have the arm strength to hang off my broom like that, but I’m definitely gonna try.”

Or just stupid. There’s plenty of morons that are thrilled about any and everything. [ she chuckles ] My my, sounds like a busy night you’ve got planned. Is this your way of telling me that I’m stuck being your wingman all night? Or your hot piece of arm candy to make everyone else jealous.
That is very true. [ she smirks ] I mean, those are just suggestions. We could switch off, I could be your wingman or arm candy. Or we could ditch the party scene altogether, go get into some mischief somewhere else.

“Ah, is that why you asked for the anti-tracking charm? Any decent manager puts a teeny trace on their player just to keep them from disappearing. One of the things that turned me off from trying to go professional. That and the 6am training camp wake up calls.” she laughed dryly. “When you’re blitzed enough, a concrete slab is comfortable. That’s when your limbs feel like butterfly wings fluttering.” she took her hand, hoisting herself up with wilda’s help. “Much appreciated. Uh, that’s a great question…” she trailed off, starting to look through her pockets. she pulled out a men’s watch from the inside breast pocket of her jacket. “Well, this is not mine. But it does say it’s 11:42am.”
“Sure is, thank you for that lovely little piece of jewelry. I can be pretty stealthy on my own, as you know, but tracking magic is a bitch to circ--circum-- to get around, ya know?” She grins. “True. You’re welcome, babe.” Wilda peers at the watch. “Almost noon, good thing I didn’t have any training today. That’s a nice piece. Did you give the poor bloke a kiss to remember you by, or did you just lift the watch?”

I didn’t think so, but thank you for the help. I really don’t understand Muggle cars at all.
I mean, I don’t pretend to be an expert, but the radio is supposed to make music, not just static. I think, maybe if we turn this dial here... [ she fiddles with some of the dials ] There we go! All better.

“I agree, it’s only a problem if you’re putting others in danger.” Doe gave a little nod. “Dorcas Meadowes at your service!” She gave a grin and a joking half bow as they danced. “I am an auror in training, yes. You’re with Puddlemere right?”
Wilda grins as Dorcas introduces herself. “That’s cool. I thought about being an Auror once. Uh, yeah, I’m on the Puddlemore United team.” She’s *still* not used to being recognized, it throws her off every time. A beat of silence, and then she remembers she’s supposed to introduce herself. “Oh, shit, sorry. I’m Wilda, Wilda Griffiths.” Do not blush, girl, you’re smoother than this.
I don’t think that’s how that works.

“Oh, I’m sure he tries, but that would require him being able to keep track of where I am. I don’t make it easy for him. Besides, park benches are decently comfortable when you’re totally blitzed.” She pulls Octavia up and sits back down on said bench. “Any time, love. Speaking of, any idea what time it is?”
