you know the like 4 episodes where merlin wore a purple shirt instead of beige/blue/red? well since purple was hard to get/make and was reserved for royalty in the middle ages i keep wondering if arthur just handed him a purple shirt because he deserved it or he just.. wanted to??? because merlin couldnt have just GOTTEn it
